Do not go here if you want to eat quick but go for a proper night out to relax and have a gorgeous tasteful dinner

Food was fantastic, great ingredients and we had a friend over from the uk who had a gluten allergy. They were brilliantly accommodating even supplying gluten free bread and changing her meals especially. Everything was perfectly cooked.

Food was good but not spectacular. Portion wise on the small side. The choice of wines was quite poorly and the dessert was too basic. The macarons were not good at all. Overall was a good experience, the place is beautifully decorated and the view a real charm but I did not leave eagerly to come back

The food was great. The service a bit slow. I think because of being understaffed and some new staff still in training. It is good quality for reasonable price. And good wines for reasonable price.

I went to Het Goude Kalf on a Saturday evening with some friends because I heard good things about the restaurant and the reviews were really good, so I decided to give it a try. All in all I was not extremely disappointed but I wasn’t enthusiastic either. The food was medium-good quality and the atmosphere was quite nice, but service was very slow. Between most courses we had to wait 20-25 minutes, which is a bit too much. Even though service was slow, our waiter was a really nice blond lady who took care of us and made us feel welcome.

Everything is perfect as always: good food, excellent service, nice atmosphere. This restaurant is a proof that fine dining doesn’t need to be expensive. My compliments! I will certainly come again as I am doing that for years already.

Quality and exceptional food for a decent price! 5 course menu for 35 you don't find anywhere else in den haag. Nice atmosphere with view at the harbour.

It feels like bistro style of restaurant and we experienced not a great service. As we were really looking forward to celebrate our reunion with our friends in this restaurant, the way we have been approached by personel was surprising. It felt like we were not welcome at all and had to rush us trough the night. Having said that we had to wait quit a long time for main meal. This is not a place to celebrate anything but having a nice meal with no expectation. Fish was well cooked, dessert beautiful.

Had a wonderful dinner with family - went for the 4-course menu with wine accompany. Fresh and tasty, good service and nice atmosphere. Will go again.

The food was excellent! They were very busy so it took a bit long but they had warned us about this in case we didn't want to wait. Friendly service and fabulous food!

Food is, as always, delicious, delicate, daring and innovative. Selection of vines is perfectly appropriate and it’s matching with the food. Staff is polite, friendly but knowing necessary limits. Ester is perfect and charming host! Portions are big enough that you don’t leave restaurant hungry as it is usually case in this kind of restaurants. Position of the restaurant with the beautiful view on the harbor gives you special atmosphere. I’ve been in this restaurant several times in the last few years and it always positively surprise me that quality is constant (even better!) and I (we) never had one reason to be unsatisfied. Stay like this and I will always be your happy customer!

Perfect service, very friendly staff, very good food – sophisticated but not pretentious! Dessert was really surprise in the best way – funny and delicious! Only advice: remove that ugly long white vases and change paper for textile napkins!
