8/10Generally restaurant was fine, but fries were not good-almost burnt, apple tart was broken, cappuccino was just a coffee with milk - no foam.

4.5/10Appetizer was plain (arugula, burrata, tomato, balsamic glaze), carbonade was okay - very fatty piece of meat that was hard to chew, and creme brulle was burnt. Overpriced for quality of food unfortunately.

10/10Where should I start? I booked it through Tripadvisor link based on reviews. I know that the neighborhood is somewhat iffy, however, we decided to try it. The service was exceptional, the food is really good, the décor was great. My advice to fellow US travelers - don't assume that your dish, even if it sounds familiar, will be prepared the same way as it would be in the US. Ask questions and some of the dish descriptions in English may be misinterpreted. Regardless, the food was great, the beers (on tap) - outstanding. Book early or you may end up with no availability of you just show up.

10/10Highly recommended, and we were not disappointed. Relaxing and charming atmosphere, and friendly skilled service. Don’t miss their cheese and shrimp croquettes and the Flemish stew, a specialty and traditional Belgian fare!

9.5/10Very good service. Very good food (my colleagues from abroad really enjoyed it as well), nice atmosphere with good background music. We didn't wait to much for the dishes. Only downside I would see is maybe about where to park your car as the streets around are quite crowed.

10/10+2Brasserie Saint-Nicolas provided an unforgettable dining experience. The mussels in creamy garlic, larger shrimp in butter, and uniquely cooked French fries showcased the culinary excellence. The pasta and lobster were a standout, and my perfectly crusted fish was a symphony of flavors. Impeccable service enhanced the overall enjoyment. The crème brûlée with Biscoff cookies and the recommended coffee sealed the meal as the best I've ever had. A truly exceptional experience at Brasserie Saint-Nicolas.

10/10Lovely setting, good music and amazing Belgian food. The restaurant was very kind to hold our restaurant and still give us 20% off even though we were running late, and the waiters were all incredibly friendly. A great find and value for money if you want to avoid the city centre.

7/10The Caesar salad on the appetizer menu turned out to have chicken in it, which was odd. The Flemish stew was tender, and the fries that came with it were very good. My husband’s meatballs in tomato sauce were a little dry but acceptable.

2.5/10This place was extremely disappointing.. went because of other reviews. It was in a sketchy neighborhood. I ordered mussels that were disgusting— they had no broth, were very dry and salty. Cheap wine. Then the worst happened. Four people sat down less then 2 feet away from us with a very smelly dog. Got our check and left. Would never go back

7.5/10The staff were quite attentive and the food was very tasty. I had Belgium stew that was delicious and my wife fish and chips which were good. The neighborhood is sketchy with street people asking for money as we dined outside. The cost of the meal including free bread and olives was very reasonable.

4.5/10We asked for the suggestion on the menu. The waiter said he recommends the duck, but when I said I will order the duck, he said he is out of it. So I ordered the chicken skewer- unfortunately, i wasnt able to eat much since most of the pieces were cooked med rare. Their noodle dish with meatball was not bad. Not much choice of wines - just 2.
