Nice restaurant, but very noisy. The quality of the food is very good — you can really taste the high-quality ingredients they use. Unfortunately, the night we went it was crowded and extremely loud. It was a special occasion, but no one seemed to take that into account. The table for two was quite small, especially with two bottles (water and wine) and the large plate for the Côte de Boeuf. When the waiter presented the bottle, he opened it correctly but then chose to smell the bottle itself instead of the cork, right in front of us — which felt rather awkward. Luckily, the excellent quality of the food made the evening better than the service did.

Great food, made with love and quality. Perfect grade of the meat. Lovely atmosphere and the familiar service made the experience absolutely great.

Truly delicious meal and very kind people. It looks like a family run business. The place is cosy and quite animated as expected for a brasserie! Good wines too!

This was a Amsterdam restaurant I had never visited, and was particularly pleased with the meat preparation! The white and dark chocolate dessert was absolutely amazing. I'll come back just for the meat, for sure!

They gave us the wrong meat and knew it, just didn’t want to say they didn’t have lamb. The food was so disappointing

Food and wine were great, our waitress was cheerful and efficient. The restaurant is not big and some big groups were so loud we could barely chat among ourselves.

The salmon starter wasn't very special. The steak was good but they could have added/suggested some vegetables to come with it.

Fantastic food and service. You need to make a reservation up front in this popular place. We had the chateubrian made to perfection. Good winelist. Everything with a fair pricing.

Amazing food in a charming brasserie. I can strongly recommend the chateaubriand, but I'm not going to tell anyone about the 2014 Lalande Pomerol, because I want to drink all the remaining bottles myself the next times I go to SenT!

The atmosphere was really good, exeptional food (meat cooked on the "Green Egg"). Very attentive and kind service. We had a amazing evening. Thank you.

Very good food and some lovely flavour combinations. Marked down slightly as the lamb was overcooked for my taste and the portion size was too big. Starters and Ravioli main course were very good. Wine was reasonably priced and the service was efficient, but lacked personal interaction.

I had a cote de Boeuf that was just very good. The service is professional yet friendly. We celebrated the graduation of my son and they had the sweet attention to surprise us with a desert with firing candle on top. I highly recommend this brasserie that make justice to the quality of french cuisine.

We had visited the restaurant on Christmas Day seven years ago with our family and wanted to return to see if the Châteaubriand was as good as it was then. To our delight, we found that everything was of the same quality and standard as we had remembered, which sometimes it’s not the case. The proprietors and staff were very welcoming and the overall service was excellent. And, the Châteaubriand was say was every bit as good as we had remembered and was absolutely delicious, as were the wines. The restaurant has a lovely friendly, warm, and inviting ambience and we truly enjoyed our summer evening there. We do therefore hope to return again - but hopefully not as long as another seven years! Chris & Tina. UK. June 2024.

Being there early on a Tuesday evening on the night of the first semi-finals of the Eurovision song contest may have been the reason the restaurant was not very busy. We liked the ambience, the menu was offering just enough choice and at reasonable prices, and the dishes we chose of the quality we expected based on the reviews we had seen. It was a pity the service seemed uninterested, but we know that happens more often on quiet nights.

The food was great, service was good and friendly…until the waitress asked me flat out for a tip, which I know isn’t required. Just don’t like being taken advantage of…won’t be back just because of that..

This is not just a French restaurant. It is a very good French restaurant. The quality of food is exquisite as is the wine selection. And that topped up with wonderful service. A unique place in Amsterdam. And for all these reasons pretty packed, so make sure to book your table.

Really quite excellent food, nice atmosphere and good service. A highly enjoyable experience and very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend. What more to say?

Oh my days! What a wonderful evening we had at The Fork! Food and service was amazing. Felt so relaxed and really would recommend this restaurant. Keep doing what you are doing…..it’s a winner!

The sort of restaurant you always hope to find and very rarely do. A warm welcome, the restaurants lighting was beautiful, setting the scene for a memorable evening with a sumptuous, perfectly cooked chateaubriand. The service was faultless and we would definitely return. Highly recommend the place on every level.

The food was extraordinary. High quality meat smoked on a Big Green Egg with olive chips. So, so good. Service was friendly, fast, and might I say, fun.

Wonderful restaurant, fabulous service, friendly, lovely atmosphere. Food was spectacular. Highly recommended. The area is full of character and a calm oasis.
