I specifically reminded the staff twice that we got married there just a couple of months ago.. yesterday on the phone and when I made the reservation. We chose the grand for our wedding because we love the location and the Sofitel hotels… but there was not a single mention or detail or anything relating to our big wedding. Very disappointing. So instead of an extraordinary valentines day experience it was just a regular one. Again disappointing and I don’t understand how your CRM system didn’t give a notification or something. These little details make experiences special. When we got married every personal detail in the hotel room ,like a little note, or personal congratulation during check-in in Amsterdam and in Paris (for our honeymoon) made us feel so special. It was missing last night.

Top notch restaurant with welcoming and professional staff. The food was unique and delicious and the paired wines were good. The tables were well spaced for quiet and privacy. Their very high price is well justified.

Dining at Bridges was an exquisite experience. The food was beyond delicious - it was beautiful to look at, creative and absolutely delectable. The venue is lovely, and our server Airi (SP??) was delightful. And, she sure knows how to bone a fish. Our favorite dish was the langoustine, but that doesn't mean that everything else wasn't outstanding. Yes, it is pricey, but from our point of view, you get what you pay for, and we got a good deal.

A little slow but incredibly nuanced food

Service was excellent. The food was very good, however we would have liked some red meat mixed in with the 6 savoury courses. Our anniversary sweet treats at the end of the evening was a lovely thought.

Enjoyed our meal and flexibility to choose different menus. Pacing was good, service attentive, knowledgeable and near its potential. Wine selection was a delight and inspiration thanks to the good sommelier who enjoyed his job and shared his extensive knowledge.

5 course Tasting Menu with wine pairing was culinary treat- if your a foodie you must experience it. Generous portions for a tasting menu . Dan was a consummate host with his knowledge of wines/ food and passion made the experience even more memorable.

The restaurant was fantastic with the great service: both friendly and formal sumultenously , which is so hard to achieve. The ambience is perfect, the presentation of the food is up to the expectations from the great Michelin recommended venue and wine pairing is fantastic. The food was a bit not to my taste. There was nothing wrong with it, just not exactly my style of the palate. That is why I gave it 9 of 10. Apart from it, I fully recommend Bridges.

the dinner at bridges was a wonderful experience. we had the chef's menu (tasting menu). it consisted of excellent food, creatively prepared. the wine pairing was imaginative and plenty, the service was outstanding (very informative, approachable and not overbearing). the price to quality/quantity ratio was very good. we spend a very enjoyable 3.5h evening.

Wonderful 7 course surprise menu. Wonderful flavors and presentations. Beautiful view by the window. Enjoyed every minute.

Dinner started out great but the cauliflower course was disappointing, the fish uninspiring and the veal dish was very chewy. So the mains did not support the superb appertizers. Service was slow-ish; pace could have been faster. 6-7 rating.

The hibiscus foam for the amuse bouche was subtle and refreshing, the scallop dish divine and the langoustine with foie gras inspired, then the dinner took a wrong turn with the perch not being remarkable and the pigeon breast a bit lazy as an idea and execution, the earlier plates showed more passion. The desert was a redeeming factor, ending the night on a high note. The service was impeccable. Price quality not so much 7.5€ for tap water….

this is a well laid out restaurant with a nice feel, good lighting and well spaced tables. The menu, even a la carte is quite limited. Plates are not warmed enough before plating. Service was a bit variable. We did have a issue with one of the plates but the restaurant manager quickly intervened and took care of it. Staff were friendly and we had an enjoyable evening

Bridges is an amazing restaurant! I actually think it was the best dinner we had while visiting Amsterdam. The food, service and atmosphere were all wonderful!

Service was over the top! So grateful for the staff. I proposed to my now fiancé just before going to the restaurant and was running a half an hour late - they graciously made space for us and stayed well after 10pm for us. They food was impeccable, we had the salted sea bass and were blown away. I am astonished. Just wonderful. Couldn’t recommend more.

The food and service was superior. In fact, it is difficult to accept that this restaurant does have a two star Michelin rating. The advantage to patrons is that, while it waits to be rediscovered (it did have a one star Michelin but lost it) the pricing is very reasonable.

+1What a brilliant experience! I invited my parents for their wedding anniversary and we had a fantastic time. The people there are very nice and caring, the food was absolutely delicious, the flavors, the textures, a real joy.. We asked the sommelier for a recommendation as we wanted to try a Dutch wine and the wine was just perfect with our menu. We had the 5 courses lunch menu and each course was a delight for the senses. Beautiful, tasty and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!

Had dinner with my friend, the restaurant location was right at the Center of the city, nicely decor (we got a table facing the water). We ordered the tasting menu, good value for a 7 course tasting menu, seafood was prepared nicely and the flow of the food was good. Some dishes could hv been salted a bit more but overall, not overwhelming but well defined and great 7-course.

Fantastic atmosphere and an excellent experienced tasting menu combo with particularly xlnt and high-prestige wines. The staff was truly amazing and accommodating, very enthusiastic and genuinely interested in the holistic inclusive experience for the customer - worked as a true team!

This is the second time I had dinner at the Bridges. The first time was 9 years ago, I came with a friend and I had a really good experience here. Now 9 years later, I’m visiting Amsterdam again, with my wife, and thought that I had to bring her to the Bridges. It did not disappoint. The food is excellent, in our humble but honest opinion, it exceeds quite many 1-star/2-star restaurants in France/US we have tried in the past. Each course is paired with a glass of well-selected wine. Obviously you could always pick a bottle of wine that costs hundreds/thousands of euros at a fine restaurant, which would be good for sure, but the chef knows his food the best, and the selection of wine paring truly reflects that thoughts were given. The service is even more spectacular. We had the pleasure to have two separate waitresses to help us overnight, one serving the food and the other serving the wine. Warm and charming, with great knowledge of the food and wine being served, and served us with elegant manner. My wife and I had a great time as I expected. I would highly recommend the Bridges, especially to couples who are planning for a dinner date. Deep appreciation and gratitude to the staff team.

The restaurant is close to the Amsterdam Central Station. We went there at 6:30PM and were greeted by very warm staff. The atmosphere is good and tables were well separated. Every customers can enjoy in their own environment. My wife and I chose the 6 course menu while my two sons chose the 7 course menu. The seafood is fresh and other dishes are very delicious. The portions are OK for us as Chinese but may not be good enough for Westerners.
