beautiful place, very kind staff. excellent cuisine with ingredients and come from the garden, we were well taken from Antonio who also recommended 4 glasses of local wine to match our dishes. beautiful Apulian experience

So OK expectations were high as a result of this place being linked with Michelin starred Bros in Lecce but it was disappointing on almost front. Front of house consisted just one friendly but not highly trained guy trying to manage welcoming/seating/taking orders/serving/clearing and billing everyone - maybe 30 So lots of hanging about/slow service and just not getting things we asked for. As for the food perfectly edible but odd and mostly pretty average. Antipasto dishes - beans, beets, salad, salami, croquettes, cheese , frittata and tart - mostly bland and in terms of breads and tart overcooked/burnt. Two pasta dishes - orrieche with tomatoes and polpette ok: tagliatelle with lemon ricotta gloopy and underseasoned. Main of meatballs (again?!) with peppers and potatoes again ok but nothing special. Pork dish consisted of a very thin escalope plus 3 tasty sausages - fine but could have done with sauce/vegetables. Chocolate almond cake good. Torta minuscule and meh!
