The service is really bad and that just makes the ambience awful.. there's a man with a menu at the door, which for me is already a huge red flag. Some employees don't speak portuguese and are very unprofessional.. while we were eating the kitchen personnel sat outside with dirty clothes looking at us and talking really loud. The food is not great either..

It started when we were standing outside the restaurant and we were trying to explain we had a reservation and the waiter didn't understand Portuguese and only told us that after a long time of us not being able to communicate. We talked in English but he still didn't fully understand, and just let us in. The food was ok although the English Breakfast a bit too greasy. In the end there was a bit of a struggle to have our Fork discount, but all ended well.

Decor is modern and welcoming but food quality needs improving. I ordered polvo (octopus) and got tentáculos de pota (squid). Not the same thing. Told the wait staff but they were obvilious.

Totally enjoyed breakfast today. Great food and selection. Worth the walk from the Chiado area.
