We had a great dinner at Cacau! We were lucky the weather was nice to sit outside in the evening, and was served by a very competent staff member, who recommended the T-bone steak to us. We didn't have many expectations, but he spoke so highly about their steak that we had to try it. Man, it didn't disappoint! The T-bone was perfectly cooked and extremely tasty, as well as super tender. It was grilled with a small portion of fat, which made the meat so super succulent. This was definitely well worth the visit, and we will come back.

Only worth if you get 50% discount and you have to remind them. Meat was good, corn was awesome, fries was not so good, salad was a bit dry. Housewine was really good. The service was ok but there are some conflicts the staff has sometimes in front of customers. The location was way better and friendlier than on the picture.

Great atmosphere and location! Service was ok. Food was also ok - price to value not great. Not worth a visit without the 50% discount through The Fork.

Food was good and service was very good. My only complaint was that the elevator is not working and the stairs are poorly lit and have loose railings.

Lovely setting and excellent food. Starter of goats cheese and scallops and duck confit and picanha skewers for mains. Would definitely recommend

2nd time and it's this specific employee who knew HOW and WHAT to advise us, which made our lunch a 5 star rate....1st time it did not go that well and poorly plus wrongly informed about the menu....

The starter chicken wings where good. The tuna skewer was not for consumption. It smelled bad and there was an awful lot of salt on it. Octopus tasted okay. The fries where very nice. They offered an other meal or a desert as compansation for the tuna. That was a nice gesture but didn't take away the bad tasted. . Desert where simple, ice had kristals in it. Pineapple with Malibu was kinda disappointing. Really just pineapple with a little Malibu. They didn't even took the hart out of the pineapple.

Had dinner on a cool, rainy weeknight in February. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and our server was extremely kind, personable and delivered outstanding service.

Really lovely food. Every time I come here the food is amazing and always large portions. It’s quality and quantity. Our waiter was also very attentive and gave us everything we needed. Great restaurant. Will definitely keep coming back. Thank you so much.

Bathroom was a mess, entire restaurant looked neglected and poorly maintained, service was slow (albeit fairly friendly), food was completely mediocre, music was playing two different types at any given time which led to very confusing ambiance.

We’ve been visiting Cacau Rooftop and Onofre (their other restaurant) for a while now, it became our favorite place in Cascais. Not only the food is delicious, but the service is also 5 stars. Tanzim is always very helpful and friendly and goes the extra mile to provide an excellent service. He plays with my kid and even has already memorized our favorite dishes. The whole team is customer oriented and friendly.

I recently visited and ordered the T-bone steak along with some side dishes. The sides and overall presentation were very nice, but I felt a bit disappointed with the steak itself. It got cold very quickly, and I don’t think this was just because we were seated outside — I suspect it would have cooled down just as fast indoors as well. For a meal at this price point, I would have expected the restaurant to serve the steak on a heated board or some type of plate that helps retain warmth, so the experience lasts longer. It’s a small detail, but it would have made a big difference. I would still return or reccomend the restaurant to others.

Excellent quality steaks 😋 Both sirloin and fillet were yummy. side dishes are generous portions. great views over the roofs of Cascais.
