The staff were wonderful and hospitable. And the service fantastic. That bread basked was unbelievable and we had to stop ourselves ordering a third time! A truly quintessential Portuguese dining experience for our group.

I thought the food was very good and the service was excellent. They are very nice there. I wish there were more vegetables on the menu but they have some. There weren't any starters that appealed to us as we don't really eat seafood and don't like raw meat. We had steak for dinner and salad and creamed spinach and all of that was very good. I think it's a very nice restaurant and we are glad we went.

We enjoyed the evening very much. The place is very cozy and the wait staff were very attentive. I had the cheese and bread for a starter that was very tasty. Friends had foie gras and raved about it. The steaks were tender and delicious. The best I’ve had in Lisbon. I would definitely recommend this place.

Dark room. Difficult to read menu. Food was outright horrible. Pata Negra had been cut well in advance and was oxidised and greasy. Foie gras terrine was grainy. Meat dishes ordered medium rare came with no searing surface as if plunged for 20 seconds in hot water and room temperature or cold inside. Sauces lacking any flavour. That this is highly rated just shows the level of cluelessness of the average eater.

Everything was very nice since we sit inside of the place, food is amazing, and the services too (Jota he was very nice and kind) we definitely recommended and coming back soon as possible because it’s my favourite bife de carne in Lisbon, and they also have a good wine !

Note: went for lunch with two American friends. Ski lodge meets speak easy meets funky spot meets old-school cool. First, the service sets this place apart. Sweet, humorous, attentive and kind staff. Delicious food. Simple, done so right! I loved the vibe. I’ll definitely be going back. Fixed menu is totally worth it! A fun and funky spot.

Classic old school dining experiences. One of the most tender steaks I have ever had. Everything was well prepared and of high quality. Well worth coming to while in Lisbon and looking for a great steak.
