9/10Surely, one of my favourite spots downtown. Located in the city center, Droog is a wonderful place for coffee & cakes, breakfast or lunch. I love the artsy decor (a lot of it from the Droog art gallery on the ground floor), the minimal yet always polite and helpful service and its location. With very few exceptions, it’s one of the spots that even as a local you can always choose in the city knowing it will be consistently good and not extremely crowded. Love it!

6/10Both my friend and I ordered the egg benedicts with hollandaise sauce. But when the dish came, the sauce looked foamy instead of creamy, we had a few bites and the taste was totally off. It was sour and smelled funky. We asked the staff if we could change it because the taste was off, she said she could ask the chef to make another one but the recipe would be the same. And that the chef said thats how hollandaise sauce should be. We were shocked because we had the same dish at many other places but never tasted sour and looked foamy. We ended up ordering just baked goods and the staff was so kind and didnt charge us for the baked goods. Overall great service but the egg benedicts were bad.

8/10The environment is lovely. Just inside temperature is a bit low. I saw lots of people still wearing coat inside. food is tasty. For the service girls are better than boys, much more warm smiley and hospitality.

10/10We had an excellent time for lunch @droog today. Super friendly staff and very nice food. A fully vegetarian menu, which we didn’t know upfront, but there were sufficient choices and we really enjoyed the freshness and taste of our dishes.

10/10A world of nice surprises. Monique is a wonderful host, the spaces are dreamy and beautiful and the food is delicious. The carrot cake is absolutely perfect. It could very well be my favourite spot in Amsterdam.

8.5/10It was good, the servers were great and there was a great ambiance. Only problem is waited very long for the food, around 1 hour or more, even though there were maybe only 2 other tables occupied. Otherwise great experience and food but I believe there was just 1 cook hence why it was maybe slow.

3.5/10No breakfast availability at 11AM. No croissants. In my opinion prices are too much regarding the quality/quantity. Service is quiet disappointe. 42€ for 2, but we need to add another breakfast at the end.

10/10I was a fan before, having lunch and drinks regularly. The atmosphere is excellent and very relaxing in the middle of Amsterdam. People are extremely nice and helpful. And yes, the three course dinner was excellent as well. light, good portions, full of taste, and well prepared.

10/10Great café on the 1st floor of a trendy modern art gallery. We had brunch there and really loved the food from savoury to sweet as well as the selection of cocktails. The staff was amazing and very helpful through the whole service. I highly recommend the raspberry scones which are served warm. Delicious!

9/10What a lovely roomy space with a relaxed ambience. The food was very good. There was even (one slice) of gluten free bread to go with the salad but unfortunately no gluten free dessert option. Maybe next time?...

6.5/10The food was great but it was very busy. Our waitress forgot to enter our order and we had to wait for more than 1 hour and chased at least 2 times before we got our food.
