Between myself, my husband and my 7yo we sampled the beef ‘onglet’ (tab) with shallot cream and potato gratin (rare), the beef bourguignon, and the burger du Charolais (rare). The beef, as you might expect for this region, was delicious and cooked to perfection, and Dijon mustard was of course provided! The bourguignon was superb, though I will say I’ve never had it served with pasta before and I’m not sure it’s my favourite side (nothing wrong with it at all, just personally prefer potatoes or bread with this combo). We of course had to try a burgundy house wine which was delicious and all was served quickly, presented nicely, and in large portions for reasonable prices. Can’t fault it! The location in the square is also dreamy.

We were able to have a dinner reservation for 5:00 on a Sunday in Dijon which was much appreciated ! Food , table and view was very nice I would recommend this place

Very personable staff. The boeuf bourguignon was delicious, very tender. We moved inside as the table next to ours had someone smoking a cigarette and for non-smokers that is not pleasant when eating. The decor inside was nice but there were only the two of us in there initially and the atmosphere was better outside and the view was nicer. I would recommend

Very nice and engaged, proactive service. Great location. Food was delicious and tasteful. Prices are quite reasonable. Big wine card with many local wines also. We will be back.

Nice place for a lunch or dinner in Dijon. The menu is too short.

Not great! There are far better restaurants in Dijon in my view. This place was so-so and I would not recommend. The food was average at best and the service was not great.

The service is not good, as I didn't feel any welcome.The waiter dropped the knife and it landed in my lap and then on the floor. He picked it up without any apology.

The secret is inside! Go inside to eat (outside to drink and people-watch). So comfortable. Exceptional terrine, escargot (true bourgogne style) and beef burgundy (I think they started making it yesterday!). Great wines, both white and red.

Good food, we wanted to try cuisine from the region. Great atmosphere on the square and delicious cocktails! One improvement could be to put the children’s menu on the menu card.

Tomatoes could not have been riper - delicious food, well priced regional wine. Sitting outside in the evening glow watching kids play in the fountains hugely entertaining. It is a shame Covid-19 hasn’t stopped the French smoking cigarettes as the smell drifting into your meal is the only downside.

Lovely cafe in a terrific location. Ambiance is fantastic. Food was generally quite good and the service was attentive.

Tasty food, good service, great wine and pretty good atmosphere. There is not a lot of free space there, but smiles and good food are enough for good impression and good evening
