I've been to Cafe Papon several times over the past 20+ years, and it has always been consistently good. The food, service and atmosphere are very good. On this last occasion, my colleague had a lactose intolerance, and they were able to adapt a dish so that it was without the sauce that had lactose.

Everything about here was a pleasure, from the location, ambience, service and especially the food. Even their choice of alcohol free beer was inspired. I ended up having the tomato tatin starter, pork secreto, then the cheesecake. Nothing was left on the plates. Sublime evening.

Staff very attentive and very professional. Food was good, I’d recommend the choucroute. A decent evening as a first night for a tourist onna weekend break. A well priced cote rotie on the wine list, but don’t expect miracles

Had the Tatin Bettrave starter which was excellent followed by Lamb shoulder, utterly amazing. The service was excellent despite a full house, which unfortunately meant it got a bit loud as everyone was inside! A great address!!

It is a mediocre restaurant. The fois gras was ok (but where is a bad fois gras in Geneva?). The parmentier was probably reheated in the microwave (just to give an idea of the taste). Will not go there again

Love the place and go there regularly. Unfortunately today the service was not very good, as the waiter preferred to serve the people who came later than us. So we had wait for drinks for about 25 min, which is not in character of this place.

The food was average and we felt extremely rushed Not what we were expecting at all. We’ve had better service and food fir similar prices elsewhere in Geneva

I booked for 15 and it was no problem at all, there was no restrictive menu because of the number on the booking. A great big long table had been set up, the staff were super friendly, and attentive. No one ever had an empty glass. The food arrived all at the same time and was really good. After we sat outside had coffees, more drinks and cigars. They were really fine with that, and continued the great service. Our evening was superb because the food and service was first class, merci!

Outstanding as ever! Café Papon has a great menu that follows the season and uses local products. The dishes are of straightforward and well prepared In addition they have a good selection of quality wines from the Geneva terroir. Last but not least the service is welcoming and attentive, not to mention the great location..
