8/10It is a small Cafe that offers a really good time gastronomy wise. The food, the price-quality ratio, the service, everything was quite good. The only thing is that their menu has been shortened over time & that's something that they need to update. Barring that, all in all I would recommend this place.

8/10Was empty when walked in, not a good sign. However the food was simple, home cooked variety and was delicious. The soup & mixed tapas were just the right amount of food for an evening meal. Nice house wine, not expensive but very drinkable. Can’t understand why it wasn’t busier???? If you’re hungry and it’s empty, go in anyway, the food is well worth it.

10/10Very cosy place with a typical Portuguese street view. Friendly, quick service and good food ❤️ definitely recommended for a small bites or little dinner as the menu is rather small but very tasty ????

10/10Thanks to the host, he was very welcoming and the food was amazing. Delicious local tapas and port wine. It's located near touristic places, so it's a nice place to get acquainted with Portuguese cuisine

8.5/10Very friendly welcome - we had the soup to start (amazing) followed by tapas for 2 and a bottle of wine - the orange cake was delicious. Local restaurant with a spread of tourists also - very much enjoyed our meal and can recommend.

9/10Very good service and very good food at competitive prices. Unfortunately the restaurant was a bit empty when we were there (Friday eve) and it was lacking a bit of conviviality (a bit of background music coming out some qualitative speakers would have been a plus). However, the owner/waiter was really nice and speaks perfect French! We highly recommend!

10/10Read a lot of comment about this place and I do concur with the other guest that this cafe does remind one that they are having at their grandparents house! The services are extremely relaxed and even though the food options are less it’s amazing healthy and good. Definitely worth trying.

10/10Exceptional place to have dinner! The owner is the friendliest person ever, really helpful to choose your meal and wine. The food was wonderful and the owner offered us to give us more of it, which wasn’t necessary as we already had more than enough in our plates. He speaks perfectly Portuguese, English and French, and is really happy to tell you traditional recipes. You should definitely go there if you’re in Alfama!

9.5/10This is the perfect place for a cosy and delicious traditional dinner. We shared the tapas and this homemade (by the owner) food was amazing. We were welcomed with a really nice pesto soup. Great place for couples or families, lunch and dinner time !

9/10Awesome atmosphere with an owner who seems to speak English, German, Italian, Spanish and French as well as Portuguese. We felt sincerely welcome. Do not miss the soup and brandade - even if you think you don't like these. The tapas option is generous and delicious.

9/10The owner is a blast. He speaks several languages fluently and has great humour. He explained what he just served us very well. The menu is rather small but I'm sure everyone likes something of it. This allows them to serve great food really quickly. The tapas were delicious and oh god, the vegetarian soup seems legendary already! Better try.

10/10Great host and cook. Home made mixed tapas. I was very surprised to see not many people there. Maybe because of the location and decor not that fancy. I would definitely recommend it. Quiet place with good food.
