Friendly and busy restaurant. Chef serves surprise menu which is always great. Best for groups at weekend as busy. As a couple we were treated great and moved to a quieter spot.

Martijn cooks beautiful food. Perfectly cooked fish, precisely timed steak, amazingly successful Beef Wellingtons, and not just. His vegetables are always prepared to a high standard - not overcooked, not too al dente, just right. And plentiful too. We have eaten quite a few delicious dinners from Martijn during lockdown, but today we ate at the Raecks, to celebrate - well, to celebrate being able to GO to a restaurant. And it was wonderful. My husband had entrecote, I had dorade. With carpaccio to start (him) and an absolutely delicious tomato and lobster soup (me). Paired with a nice glass of godello for me and Richard just went for beer. Yum and bravo Team! We will be back soon!
