9.5/10We really enjoyed the food. We had the risotto and the veal steak for dinner, and presentation of the food was very nice and everything tasted definitely gourmet. We were very impressed with the food and would definitely return for another meal if we are in Avignon again

10/10Great location right in the square. The square was very active since there was a DJ at one of the other locations across the square which was perfect as we were able to listen to the music and still have a conversation. The food was excellent. We had the foie gras as a starter and shared the beef chateaubriand and the fish fillet. The service was excellent too.

10/10Where to start!! The food was incredible, you can see how they love food and want to share their love of it to their customers. The service was impeccable, very friendly and that makes all the difference when trying a new place. One of the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. Merci Cafe Saint Jean.

9/10excellent place the meat was very soft (bavette) and the sauce amazing purely amazing. The discount does not apply to menu logically and some lunch menus are very affordable if you do not wish to have the discount could it be good for a quick meal.

9/10Great service and location, friendly staff. The food has a very good presentation, a real effort is made. when it comes to the taste, it is good, but lacks a bit to be waouw. overall I would say you get great value for your money and will eat very well for a brasserie.

10/10We appreciated that there was a vegan offering for the main dish. It would have been nice to have a vegan entree and dessert as well. The service was great, seating was comfortable and the dining room cozy. The food was delicious. The patio seating is on a very nice square.

10/10We stayed in the old town of Avignon for three days and went out to play during the day every day. We came back very late at night. We were very lucky to come across this restaurant at 8 o'clock on the first night. After watching the sunset glow over the Palais des Papes, we went to the restaurant. The appetizers, main courses and desserts in the restaurant were all delicious. So we came back to enjoy the delicious food again on the second night. There were no dishes that disappointed us, and we could also enjoy a 20% discount.

10/10We really enjoyed our dinner here. We had shrimp dumplings ( not real dumplings but excellent shrimps between two sheets of very lite crepes and amazing souse) and foe grau pate . We shared main dish - veal with mashed potatoes, artichoke and broccoli was the best veal I ever ate. Finally, orange carpaccio with fresh cream and pistachio ended the meal on a high note!

10/10Olivier was attentive, enthusiastic and went above and beyond to create a hospitable, enjoyable atmosphere for my wife and I on our the occasion of our 25th anniversary. The food was fabulous & the wines were better but Olivier was magnifque! If you are a lover of wine, please ask for Olivier at your next reservation…he literally made our evening!! My wife found her new favourite aperitif - chartreuse with crushed ice- on Olivier’s recommendation.

First i would like to thank the fork for the easy and reliable app first time using the app. For the restaurant we arrived on time our table was ready and they also gave us the opportunity to choose another one. Service wise the staff where so nice so comprehensive not so knowledgeable about their menu but it was okay. Food wise i don’t know what to say it was just amazing soup foie gras then the main courses very generous portions very quick service on everything food an cocktails. Amazing experience surely would come back!!

10/10This was a great find! We enjoyed the ambiance of the café sitting under the bell tower right off the square perfection. The service was great the food even better. Would defiantly go again.
