Great atmosphere, really good jazz band and food was top. Add to that a very good service, all an recipe for a great experience. With our group of 8 we loved this experience and will certainly return

Excellent food, beautifully presented, and excellent service. Wine list a bit expensive, but very good quality.

I'm unsure if the middle aged gentleman was the proprietor, but he was very nice and courteous. Although the young lady who was our server didn't speak much English (and sadly my French is non-existent), she was very pleasant, helpful, and child understand is quite well. The food and wine were all excellent: I started with the escargot which had the traditional prep with the addition of pesto and grated fresh ginger...it was fantastic! My wife and I both had the St. Jacque scallops which was also delicious. We finished our dinners by sharing the apple tart and toffee ice cream... all very good! We really enjoyed this establishment and highly recommend it!

There is a live band, I'm not sure which days but it was there Friday night. If you like jazz you will love it, if you don't you'll think it's very noisy for a small place. Food wise, the starters are nice, the mains are ok, stick to the meats,

We had a great experience at Cafe Sud. Pleasant service, great ambience and excellent food. The wine was great too as were the desserts.

Fantastic food, and the live jazz was an extra treat. Friendly service and well located too if you are in the Opera area (5-10 minutes walk). The live jazz is on Friday evenings only I think.

Amazing atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, but not great service, The waiter/owner wasn't warm or welcoming. We opted for a menu and I found it quite basic. Will not be back.

Does not accept TheFork gift cards. Too bad they try to take advantage of you like this… apart from this it’s a nice place

The food was beautifully prepared and presented. A good range of wines by the half bottle was another plus. Warm ambiance. Highly recommended.

I had a nice lunch there, we ate on their nice terrace, food was good (saumon gravelax, fish...), the service was nice and it was not so expensive,

I love the place. The food and the service was excellent. I ordered the Apple tart desert but the cheesecake was served instead. My friend and I were busy talking and didn’t realize it was a wrong order until the lady server brought out the correct one. And of course we were not charged for the cheesecake. We loved the jazz music. Everything was great. I will definitely come back.

Food was outstanding and perhaps we didn’t do our homework but we were pleasantly surprised to be entertained during dinner by a great jazz quartet. Order the duck. One of the best I’ve had in Paris.

Incredible service, food and atmosphere. The roasted lamb, escargots, and Bordeaux wine was incredible. We loved the decor (books surrounding us) and modern furniture in a wonderful restaurant as live quartet jazz played in the background :)

Second time we have eaten and Cafe Sud. My favorite neighborhood restaurant in the Opera House area. Food is excellent!!!! Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed got the theater 2 course with Scallops Perfectly cook delicious mashed sweet potatoes and vegetable Dessert Apple pie with ice cream the French way excellent husband lanb chops He thought we’re very good 39 euro came with potatoes and vegetables and the had jazz Three-piece band playing Perfect first night dinner in Paris

It was very tasty! There is rather small space, but everybody feels free in own space. Everything is fine, wine and meal.

Superb. White asparagus, salad, scallops, rack of lamb...all were brilliant. Largely filled with Parisians on the night of my visit. They know their food.

This is a fabulous little place. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is wonderful and the live jazz makes for a truly memorable evening. We love the place.
