14.00 is late for lunch in provincial France, but at Victor Hugo we were welcomed as if it has been midday. Absolutely charming staff, quick serve, freshly cooked ford. We love this place, a proper French brasserie, one of a dying breed.

The food here was really good and the service friendly and generally good although a glass of wine was forgotten. Great atmosphere and we had a really nice table. Prices reasonable. Would come again.

Nice dinner in a nice place. I really appreciated the fois gras maison and the quality of the tartare de bœuf au coteau, that I would have preferred without the dressing. Service nice and fast.

Very nice food and wine, service was great! We had the Duck and the truffle gnocchi, both were delicious. Desert was also nice, the terrace is located on a small square.

We are used to eat there... AND are often very satisfied... but this time, we had to wait 20 minutes to see a waiter ... this is not acceptable.... but we will come back...

Reasonably priced restaurant with great food and excellent service. Given that my French is not perfect I noticed that our waitor gently made sure that our order was what we wanted. It was a nice thing to do.

Super! From the welcome , the choose of food, our waiter, quantity and quality of food , everything has been perfect. Just the seats were a bit damaged, they should be repaired.

Great staff who spoke incredible English. Reasonably prices and a decent meal. The carpaccio was terriffic. My Squid seemed rather more of an autumnal dish than summer and was overly salted. Lovely terrace to eat on.
