The tasting menu was an excellent choice, but what truly stood out was the exceptionally professional service. The wine pairing complemented each dish perfectly. We will definitely return.

2nd time we have had the 6-course tasting menu and wine flight with 8 months between and whilst it was very tasty we were a bit disappointed at how many of the dishes were the same. Probably would not go again until we know they’ve updated the menu.

+2Excellent food and service in a wonderful setting. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The selections of wine to accompany the meal were outstanding, the Sommelier has a vast knowledge of Portuguese wines. The menu offers an opportunity to try a collection of superb food. Definitely one to visit if you are in the area.

September evening, four of us sat on the roof terrace. Wow .. what flavours . I can’t think of anything I’d change. The Chefs and waiting staff worked so hard. The pace of the delivery was spot on. Such a lot of work for the staff with six courses , all the changes of glass and cutlery. Our favourite dish was the Pork, slightly charred. cooked to perfection. Another tasty dish, paired with Madeira wine, had curry and Asian influences. Utterly delighted … I strongly recommend the tasting menu.

Great rooftop restaurant with knowledgeable attentive staff and a hugely talented chef, serving the best local food. One of the best value wine pairings with lots of great local wines too. If you're staying on the coast, grab a 10 -15 minute taxi ride. This is a gem of restaurant on the Algarve that is well worth your support.

Pleasantly surprised... Whitenessing its inception when Cafezique first opened, I finally took the plunge and I am now sorry it took me so long. Wonderful tasting menu experience topped by the great service from Nelson and the wine waiter. Will be back on my next Christmas holiday,or next summer holiday. A great time was had, thank you.

Outstanding! Everything from start to finish. The staff were just incredible, their knowledge, passion for what they do and attention to detail was outstanding. The food was again, beyond amazing. Not only was the food delicious and very creative, but all of the servers were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We have already recommended it to our friends and we will definitely be returning!

I know this maybe a little odd for most people, but coming from a classically trained chef, fine dining is not my favorite type of food or dining experience, so this is not the restaurant’s fault! I am all about the flavor of food! I don’t care as much about the presentation, how many ingredients are in it or what the latest technique was used to prepare the food. The ambience and service are important, but the taste of the food is most important to me. That being said…. The ambience was amazing! I sat on the rooftop surrounded by trees, flowers and a beautiful sunset. The service was impeccable! The food was beautiful and had many ingredients, but just wasn’t my cup of tea. The specific dishes were not something I would normally order, but I am totally okay with stepping out of my comfort zone. Out of 6 courses, I only really liked the flavor of one. Again, this may be your thing, but sometimes I feel like simple, authentic food is under appreciated.

A truly unique dining experience with outstanding service and meal presentation. Beautiful setting as well if you get a table on the rooftop. Went for the 6 course menu which was delightful but a bit light if you are hungry. Highly recommend the wine pairing if you want to explore the wide variety and quality of regional wines. The sommelier did an outstanding job describing the wines and the reason for their pairing with the dish. Would highly recommend as a truly unique culinary experience and an opportunity to discover regional cuisine with local in-season ingredients and amazing talent.

The same ingredients but not the same flavours as a previous visit. The butternut squash served nearly raw the first course lacking in taste and the desert unexciting. The portions seemed small and the wine tasting portions were particularly mean.. disappointed

Minor issue , main course plates were not hot there fore food was just warm , The started of squid in pastry was excellent, the main course was John Dory on a bed of beans , very bland .
