10/10The food was the best we’ve had in Italy to date and the servers were all so warm and friendly. We had the perfect temperature day with a setting sun just off a quiet canal.

7.5/10The portions are generous, especially the fried calamari and the grilled fish, prawns, etc., which is normal given the high price level in very simple place. The squid ink pasta lacks taste (garlic, pepper, etc.). In terms of atmosphere, there is none, but that doesn't matter: it's just a large terrace in front of a building exposed to the heat and without the slightest breath of wind. If you are with family or a group, it's fine, and you will create the atmosphere. If you want Venetian romance, no.

3.5/10Each dish was more of a let down than the last. The portion of calamari was extraordinarily small, the preparation was underwhelming, and the price was astronomical. The lasagne bolognese was far from that. The pasta was well overdone and the dish lacked flavor overall. The carbonara had a chemical flavor and was practically inedible. The amount consumed was only a reflection of the level of hunger. The sea bass was the most edible thing we ordered and it was mushy and flavorless. This seems to be their forte, overcooking food. We’ve had better fish at franchises in the US. A 12% service charge is automatically added to the bill. To add insult to this unpleasant experience the server refused to acknowledge that a woman was paying the bill, despite having been the one to ask for it, he gave it to my husband and only spoke to him, then even after I handed the card to pay, he asked my husband to sign. We chose this restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews and were entirely disappointed.

8/10Food was very good. My wife had the steak with green pepper sauce, which she said was delicious. I had the lasagne al forne, which was solid. Nice little restaurant in a little palazzo off of a canal. Service was good.

10/10We were thankful we'd made reservations as outside dining was not available so limited seating. One of our best meals in italy! Wonderful, welcoming service and very flavorful, delicious dinners. Highly recommend!

7.5/10We wanted to have the wine of the house, but the waiter informed us that they ran out so he can only give other wines for a more expensive price. The next disappointment was the food. The seppie al Nero tasted like a super salty tomato sauce, and the amount of polenta given as a side dish was very little. My partner had the squid ink risotto which I also tasted, it mainly tasted like parmesan cheese. The restaurant has a nice vibe but food wise I was not convinced. There are better places to try.

8.5/10We wanted to have a light dinner prior to our early morning flight. Though we enjoyed this restaurant for the food and a lovely treat of lemoncello at the end of our meal, we did not enjoy our waiter constantantly trying to upsell appetizers, drinks, and desserts, even with our continued polite decline. Otherwise we enjoyed this spot neat the bus and rail stations.

10/10We went to this restaurant for lunch and stayed for dinner! We had a great time and Kaozi was a great host with great recommendations on the food. The restaurant was off to the side and out of the way of all the hustle and bustle which is what we wanted.

8/10Good food. Not so friendly. Made me sit outside as I was a few minutes early. I ordered a beer. I said a normal beer and they brought a litre beer. Unbelievable. This spoilt everything but the food was good and one waiter was very friendly.

8.5/10Small traditional restaurant with large outdoor seating area in a picturesque street not far from the bus and railway stations. Service is excellent and food is fresh and tasty. Lots of seafood and meat on the menu. Would recommend the fried fish Venetian style.

10/10I was looking for someplace for dinner near my hotel and found very good reviews on this one. I felt very safe and comfortable, which is a consideration for a woman of a certain age traveling alone. The waiters were charming and attentive, and the food was delicious. I ordered the mussels in garlic, which came swimming in a delicious broth that included some chunks of fresh tomato and bunches of basil. My main course was the mixed fried seafood, which had shrimp, calamari, octopus and small sardines along with a little cake of polenta. I plan to go back tomorrow night and try some more of their offerings.

10/10Lovely setting, great laid out tables and shade and a light breeze. Service was impeccable across all of the the team. Lovely food, mussels sweet and excellent fish and superb starter selection. Great value. Where can you go wrong - loved it - 6 of us!
