9.5/10Caffe Pitti was recommended from the book 101 things to do in Florence and it didn't disappoint. We sat outside overlooking Palazzo Pitti, enjoyed negronis, sausage crostini, paparedelle with wild boar and a lovely bottle of red. Would recommend.

10/10Caffe Pitti is literally overshadowed by the palace - excellent location and so convenient after a rewarding afternoon in the palace/gardens. Food was excellent and delightfully presented. Truffle speciality meals highly commended and quite delicious. A number of other traditional authentic offerings also available which made for a highly rewarding experience. All in all - location, charming service and quality of food, made for a great experience.

10/10Everything we tried was very tasty but the truffle gnocchi and tiramisu were so fantastic we had to go back again for more a few days later. I found myself comparing every meal we had in Florence to our first meal on our first night at the Caffe Pitti. We will be coming back when we visit florence again, a meal that won’t be forgotten.

10/10Best lasagna I’ve ever tasted!! The waiter was so attentive and gave us wonderful suggestions…everything is homemade and sooo delicious. I’m going to dream about that lasagna for a long time…and managed to make room for their delicious tiramisu YUM… Sat outside with a lovely view of the Pitti Palace and watched it turn colors as the sun set. Beautiful evening and great food…try this place, you won’t be disappointed!

9.5/10Great little restaurant with very friendly staff. The evening of 30th December so it was probably quieter than normal otherwise really great little restaurant. definitely worth a visit. Very busy at lunchtime with tourists due to its location.

10/10I learned about this in a book, and had to try It was my first night in Florence I went early, so it was not busy. The server, Andrea, was attentive and accommodating The specialty of the house is truffles, so I had Risotto with Truffles and it was excellent, creamy and delicious I definitely want to rest and try other things on the menu

10/10We return to this restaurant every time we are in Florence. The service is excellent. The ambiance is quite romantic. The food is consistently exquisite. This restaurant takes pride in cooking every dish. Hence it is not a fast food establishment. The pacing of drinks, antipasto, entrees, coffee and desert makes eating here a dining experience. I have never been disappointed. I highly recommend it.

10/10I read Corinna Cook's book and she said the Caffe Pitti is the first place she visits in Florence so we did the same. It was fabulous, the truffle meal was unbelievably delicious and just looking at the Pitti Palace was beautiful.

9/10Food is always delicious and so is the service always great. I book a table here for dinner every time I visit Firenze. A must stop for all truffle fans. They specialise in truffle fishes and have a separate menu. All dishes are served with generous amounts of truffle. Highly recommend this restaurant for a good meal out in Firenze. .

10/10A very chilled out restaurant with a great view outside although we chose to sit in the charming interior. It’s truffle season so we got carried away and all had one course with the white truffles. Suffice to say all of these dishes were delicious as well as the other (significantly cheaper!) other courses we chose. What really made the meal was the charming waiter who fussed over our children and was happy to stop and chat to tell us about Florence and also about the history of the truffles and how thy are “hunted”. He was clearly very proud of what the restaurant produces and so he should be.

10/10Amazing truffle dishes, cooked to perfection!!! I visit cafe Pitti every time I’m in Firenze. Truly a fabulous experience... it’s heaven on a plat.
