9/10The food was excellent and the service even more. They made us feel like kings. The shells, crab, prawns, clams, etc, … were over the moon. I would recommend this restaurant anytime.

9.5/10The food was amazing, staff was extremely friendly and nice. Only remark, I would change the cold white lights to a warmer light. We got out of the taxi and hesitated to enter because of the light. Happy we entered, it was the best dinner of our journey!

6.5/10It was okay, no real ambience as it is on a side street. Our waiter was nice but just delivered bread, olives and cheese to our table, we assumed it was complimentary. We did not ask for it. When our bill arrived, we were charged for these items. The menu items are very very expensive and everything is ala carte. We ordered the seafood rice for $ 70 euros and it was nothing great and had more razor clams than any other shellfish, they are very chewy and tasteless. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant.

We stumbled upon Cais ao Mar by complete happenstance, and oh are we so glad we did! The service was excellent, this sweet gentleman working the patio was working his tail off and still made sure to keep our wine glasses full for us. We ordered a dozen oysters to start while we decided on dinner and they were the freshest oysters we have ever had. For our meal, we had the Super Nova seafood platter for 2-3 people, and it was more than enough for the two of us! The shrimp that came out first from the meal were delicious, we could have made a whole dinner with just those! From the platter, our favorites were the clams cooked both ways, and the prawns…but honestly nothing was even remotely close to being bad on it. Overall, for the price, food quality, and service all together…we would absolutely recommend this restaurant to any seafood lover coming into the area! Just make sure to make a reservation!

Fresh and delicious food, excellent service! We had very nice experience to try oysters :) What I would recommend is to refreshing an interior specifically the toilets.

4/10The only good point is fresh Sea food! Two waiters for the whole restaurant...long waiting time for meals, drinks, the bill...etc..!!! Very basic furniture... Indeed, prices are high for a minimalist restaurant with poor service... We could have the same fresh see food at a lower price in another place !! Don't deserve money spent!!!

8/10The staff are AMAZING, so friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The menu although good is quite limited, our meal was good but would say we enjoyed the ambience and the staff more than the actual food. Would recommend a visit as prices are reasonable and location is good.

Very fresh seafood (mussels, oyster, tuna, etc), delicious prepared/cooked. Price is bit higher but really authentic portuguese food. Friendly staff.

2/10Avoid Avoid! I have never ever experienced service like this ! Whoever served or delivered service should be gone!The rushing moving at a speed only to recognised as abnormal behaviour would categorise this establishment. I would never visit again. The service is the worse ever on all levels so much I would say do not visit or waste your money!!!
