The food is not bad, but I wouldnt come back. The place has a weird vibe, tv playing football, weird neon lights and shisha smoke in the same room where meals where served. Staff is unattentive and not very agile. The restaurant was not crowded at all and still it took them over 45 minutes to serve our paella.

I really liked this place. It’s near the beach but there weren’t nearly as many tourists as in the port, which made the experience much more peaceful. I really enjoyed the meal - we had a paella, a chicken breast dish with potatoes salad, and some grilled octopus. Everything was delicious! I also had sangria which was fresh and enjoying) I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Best seafood platter ever! Great service and great people made the dinner really special. We had the sangria and the large seafood platter which was full of fish and seafood that tasted so fresh, the salmon was especially good. Would go again and would reccomend everyone to go try!

I recently booked a Sunday lunch at Can Borbo through The Fork, and it was fantastic! I tried their famous Dorada a la Plancha, recommended by the friendly staff. The dish was generous, served with a fresh salad and rice, and absolutely delicious, I left fully satisfied! The warm, welcoming service made it even better. The staff treated me like family and provided everything I needed. We even had a nice chat over my café con leche. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend Can Borbo for a memorable dining experience!

We tried paella de marisco, which was good but with some strong taste from vegetables/pepperoni probably, and a plate of mixed seafood/shellfish, good one with very nice cannolicchi. Good wine suggestion from the waiter. Price and location in line with Barceloneta standards

Tariq is such a wonderful host! He attends all our needs and very attentive to our requests. Restaurant is very clean and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Price are very reasonable and the food is very delicious with a big serving. We are so full and very satisfied with the taste. You will not regret coming and spending your money in Can Borbó. The place is easy to find as well. Very close to the beach. We are pleased that we have chosen this place to have our authentic Spanish cuisine. Highly recommended you won’t regret! THE FOOD HAS TO BE REVIEWED BY THE HEAD CHEFS!!! Most of the tourist come for one reason to this place : spanish food. The food was absolutely flavourless. I had to add salt pepper and a lot of lemon to all my dishes due to the lack of flavour. The aim of this review is not to make the restaurant seem bad but for the restaurant to make a HUGE difference. I would be a returning guest if the way of making food changes. Gambas was super oily and flavourless, paella was absolutely flavourless. I am writing this review after having an amazing paella in a different restaurant. I am upset about the food because the staffs were welcoming and the restaurant looks good too but unfortunately the food has ruined everything. I really hope there will Be a change.

Excellent food for an extremely reasonable price! Everyone in my family loved what they had and everyone agreed it was one of the best meals we had in Barcelona. Highly recommend this place!
