We had a really nice experience at Can Saia. the waiter welcomed us warmly, the food was delicious and typical catalan. My husband has an egg allergy and they were super attentive to it. we thank the team for making us such a wonderful family evening!

Found this place by The Fork and I spent a very nice evening there - really tasty food, nice wine accompaniment and professional and nice service, will definitely visit again when being back in Barcelona!

We had an excellent dinner. Our waiter suggested dishes to share and it was suberb. He also suggested desserts to share which we did not regret, it was delicious!

The quality to price ratio is not as good as other comparable restaurants. Dinner for 3 with 2 steaks, 1 paella (for 2 as required portion), and a bottle of wine (no appetizers and no deserts) cost us 170 euros.

Very good food and very kind people.

In this restaurant they hade a moderate service and one of the waiters was nice but food was terrible. My children’s steak was all fat and they made us pay 30€ each. The crazy thing is that we payed 30€ for a salad of avocados tomatoes and 4 mignon shrimps. And 21 € for a tomatoes and avocados salad. Since we were tourists they thought they could trick us in paying more. I was with my 12 and 10 yro children. Never going again.

Food was great and staff were incredibly personable and helpful. Relly loved eating some traditional Catalan food done so well! Worth the small trek out of the tourist zone.

Cozy place with good food. The waiter helped us a lot by offering food and wine suggestions and recommendations. Nice place for a night out, just a few tables but everything very well organized.

Top Top Top ! Superb food in an authentic Can (it means House in Catalan) hosted by a welcoming chef and staff. Highly recommended????????????????????

Dinner at Can Saia has been the best experience after covid, The fod quality was excelent, taste. THe best is the staff that hold the establishment. Great fantastic people.

Eduard and his team are simply UNBELIVABLE. Best unexepcted discovery for last 2 decades in the amazing foodie city of Barcelona. Food quality, ans we were a gourmet of 8 from all high level culinary backgrounds, was EXTRAORDINARY

The chef went out of his way to explain the menu to us, which was absolutely necessary as it was only available in Catalan. Even then, it was an intimidating menu, but we fortunately chose well. The tuna carpaccio was delicious, and the meatballs were accompanied by a delicious broth containing mushrooms and a surprise monkfish center. It was our first time eating a bowl of green beans (just the seeds ????) and they were so good. I still don’t know what fish we ordered but it was tasty and expertly filleted.

Nice place within walking distance from Passeig de Gràcia and Diagonal metro station. Had fried calamari, paella with shrimps and last, torrija with ice cream and cream brûlée. All was good enough, not a fancy dinner to be mentioned and celebrated but good, of course. With 1 lt of sangria, the bill was about € 68,-.

Small restaurant with incredible service and great food. Quality of the products was outstanding, the chef explained the dishes they prepared and created a very home atmosphere. For sure a place to visit again

We live in Barcelona and this place isn’t a common/most known hot spots in the city. But it will amaze you with the levels Catalan cuisine can deliver, the genuineness of the chef and the service and the taste in your mouth. Strongly recommended for foodies to order food from the menu you barely make sense (in english and with the great mixes it has) and be super pleasantly surprised with every dish. It is traditional food that you don’t get everywhere cooked to perfection???? It will be your own little secret that you’ll be proud of discovering

Happily surprised by this place which we ended finding by pure chance not knowing exactly were we were going. Place is quite small but run by a very good chef who has a set a high standard for the dishes they serve. Ingredients are top quality and dishes are well prepared. Many unusual dishes on the menu such as Carpaccio de pata negra (pluma ibérica) or tartare of 60day maturated beef and most surprising 3 or 4 dishes based on sea cucumber.. unseen so far in Barcelona. I strongly recollect this hidden nugget. On the top they have a small terrace, the service was very nice also.

It is noted that the environment is not prepared for tourism or people outside Catalunya . The menu is only in Catalao, the online menu is not what they serve in the restaurant, we ask why they said that the menu is always changing. The quality of the food is excellent, but I felt very uncomfortable having to translate so that I could place my order.
