Staff are nice and restaurant environment is also very good. For food, i found that quite a lot of them are great and delicious. However, few dishes I found that were too ambitious to show technique which made the dish become too complex without a clear cohesive structure. More importantly, as a tasting menu, it seems a bit lost for the whole food journey. (if you eat them individually, every dishes are very high standards)

After reading the reviews, I thought this place is much better than it was. Everything is average about this place. Two food menus were available; one for €65 and another for €120. We opted for €65. It was average. Food wasn’t bad, but wasn’t worth what we paid for. Service was patchy and again average. We had to ask for bread 3 times as the waiter never brought it in the first place. I wouldn’t go again

Come back here each time we are in Tossa. Food and wine were superb. Very good quality. Service was friendly and efficient. The setting outside is very pleasant and atmospheric. Expensive for Tossa but worth it for a special occasion.

Can Sophia is truly the best restaurant in Tossa. We dined at Can Simon the one night and Can Sophia another. While both are wonderful, four of us unanimously agreed that Can Sophia had the edge in overall quality and creativity. Kudos to the Chef and Service team and Can Sophia. I recommend requesting a seat outside in the inner courtyard for a magical ambiance to match you culinary delight!

Friendly staff, the filet mignon was really good, desert (pineapple rum/coconut icecream) just regular. Minus: they served our starter at the same time as the main course and we were nog even finished with the appetizers.

Excellent food and the restaurant is beautiful (ask to be outside on the terrace when reserving if you want). Not a huge choice on the menu for main courses but everything we tried was excellent. The starters seem pricey but in fact come with large quantities. Would definitely go again.

The room was cool and lovely on a hot day, the staff attentive and the food delicious. The fois gras terrine was worth going back force. . It was certainly the best restaurant I’ve ever dined at in Tossa.

We had an amazing dining experience here for our anniversary last night. Free bubbles to celebrate in a lovely setting with impeccable service and divine food. I had the goats cheese and pumpkin salad followed by the pork cheek crispy canelloni and my husband the scrambled followed by pork belly. We both had the chocolate brownie for dessert. There was a good wine choice and great coffee too. Could not have asked for a better experience. So glad we booked here. Would return if ever back in Tossa de Mar for another break away from Barcelona. Thanks to the whole team.

This is by far the best restaurant in tossa. At 35 euros for the dinner menu the value is outstanding. Beautiful settings excellent service. Don’t leave without trying it

Placed in an old House in the town Centre, this Cosy Restaurant Serves very interesting and Well prepared dishes. The Service is outstanding and very friendly. Highly recommendable.

The restaurant is located in a lovely old hotel. The pictures on the web site depict how lovely 'the conservatory' restaurant is. All tables were occupied but voices were kept at a respectable level for the setting. Highly recommmended for two, four or larger parties wanting an up market experience. We were offered two complimentary muse bouche, one with salmon and one an asparagus foam soup. Both delicious. We both ordered carpacchios, one with prawns and one with beetroot and goats cheese. For our mains we both selected the veal which was very tender. To finish my husband had an amazing apple crumble that looked like an apple sitting on crumble and I enjoyed a cherry and ice cream dessert. The wines offered cover a wide price range to suit everyones budget. We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience which we had booked for my birthday.

Food excellent; couldn't fault it. Similarly the service was very good. Only slight downer was the flies and smokers in the outside dining area but I guess the restaurant can't do much about Spanish insects and smoking habits?

From start to finish the feeling of belonging and service was in abundance. The setting was perfect. The food and wine superb. Reasonably priced as well considering. Will definitely return probably in September when we are visiting Tossa again.
