Wonderful dinner at Cangrejo de Los Abrigos! We loved the fresh grilled local fish for two, the crispy fried baby squid, and their excellent local wine. Great service and an authentic vibe. We enjoyed the local energy, the beautiful harbor view, and watching the neighborhood kids diving into the water and having a blast.

Booking online was simple and the initial welcome was good. After that the service was poor. The staff were miserable and grumpy and looked like they didn’t want to be there. The food was ok. The cleanliness was poor using old cloths all evening without changing them or using sprays. They were keen to take payment once we were able to get there attention.

Lovely evening walk to Los Abrigos. The waiters always friendly. My husband doesn’t eat fish/seafood he really enjoyed the chicken in mushroom sauce. Sea bass was lovely. Great for people watching too.

So thankful this restaurant was listed on the Fork. We were looking for a place in Los Abrigos and this restaurant checked all the boxes. The menu is in multiple languages which makes ordering simple. We also used the reviews and ordered several recommended dishes. The seafood soup, house salad and salted fish are all A+ dishes. The house salad includes shrimp, mussels and squid. Ample food portions. The service is so attentive and the location is great for a sunset view.

Lovely lunch. Sat outside and came to have freshly landed fish. We had a lovely fish soup followed by Freshly landed SeaBass. Cooked to perfection with Canary Potatoes and dips to accompany. Reasonably priced for the quality of food.

Los Abrigos is a beautiful quaint fishing harbour in southern Tenerife. The harbour is home to an enclave of superb fish restaurants offering fresh fish dishes daily. This particular restaurant is in the perfect location to view the sunset whilst experiencing excellent cuisine and superb wines. Perfect for a romantic evening!
