80€ bills and they said you didnt make reservation by Fork. No discount. One thing is nice about this restaurant that my wife was there. She is so beautiful.

Gentile signore, avete cenato in un ristorante in centro, in zona Vaticano, mangiando a base di pesce e bevendo del buon vino, serviti in maniera attenta e disponibile, seduti al tavolo per circa 3 ore e quindi godendovi la vostra bella serata. Vi siete detti soddisfatti in tutto e era visibile il vostro apprezzamento. Alla richiesta del conto ci avete ribadito di avere prenotato su the fork e vi è stato confermato, facendovi notare che la vostra prenotazione era senza alcuno sconto. A riporva di ciò vi abbiamo mostrato il nostro pannello delle prenotazioni su the fork per essere maggiormente chiari sulla mancanza di uno sconto applicabile alla vostra prenotazione. È decisamente scorretto e puerile recensire con tutti 2 solo perché lei non sa utilizzare l'app e non ha inserito una prenotazione con sconto. Oltretutto, anche senza sconto, reputa costosa una cena di pesce in zona centralissima da circa 40 euro a persona? Al suo posto mi vergognerei anche solo a pensare di fare una recensione del genere. we booked this restaurant to have a final meal in Rome with our family of 13. We were greeted at the door upon our arrival and were seated. I loved the atmosphere and the service was phenomenal. The first course and second course were really well prepared and tasted amazing. The only reason I gave the food a 4 was because the appetizers were awful. The cod tasted saturated in oil and the breading was super thick and gooey. The bruschetta was not the usual tomato variety so a couple of family members were disappointed, but it was on them for not reading the description of the food. The tiramisu and lemon tarts were really tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Way above my expectations! The vegan options were absolutely delicious and can be difficult to find in Rome. The vegan polpette and risotto were both great and the server was very kind. Overall great experience!

We had the Cacio e Pepe pasta and Mussels and class antipasti and it was the best food we had in Rome. However we did not like the desserts that much (tiramisù and panna cotta)

Very delicious food and amazing service. Food came out relatively quickly. If you're planning to go on a date or just have a nice family meal, this is an fantastic place to go as the prices are reasonable.

Not tourist friendly. Although there were plenty of tables, I felt that if we have not done a reservation we would not have been seated. The Manager was also astonished that we have a reservation. Once seated, it felt like all other tables, had to be served before ours. It was strange for the Manager when asked to speak English in stead of Italian. It took them 30 minutes to take our order, so that they can forget one of the main courses. A starter is prepared for another 30 minutes. Disappointed to the least, felt as of I have been told: “you don’t belong here”. Would not recommend at all.

Fast and Friendly service with amazing selection of food. We were greeted immediately and the choices for dinner were delicious and enjoyed our time there. We would definitely recommend and come back again, thank you!

Food was amazing, I got the mezzelune and were to die for and my husband got the Danish beef and was really impressed. The falafel were really home made and we're delicious. Tiramisù was also really good. The only 2 things I didn't really enjoy were the place was a bit too cold and the fact that we were brought a second portion of bread without having asked for it and considering you get charged for bread, I found it a bit cheeky. But all in all a really good place. Prices are average so it was nice to enjoy the 30% off through The Fork. I definitely recommend it and I would definitely go back again.

The location is lovely the food was wound horrible. No one in our party had a meal we could eat. It was that bad, it was so overcooked I could not cut it to take a bit. Save you money and eat somewhere else.

In effetti ci sembrava strano, visti gli elogi della sera precedente e il vostro entusiasmo per il cibo e il servizio riscontrati durante la vostra permanenza a Cantina 26! La cosa importante, più che riuscire a cancellare questa errata recensione, per noi è che siate tornati e ancora una volta sia stata per voi una esperienza più che positiva! Very good food. We had fried artisjok, pasta cacio e pepe and a nicely grilled beef. The artisjok was lovely. The pasta was absolutely sublime, clearly home made and a perfect al dente bite. The beef was juicy and perfect cuisine (medium rare). In addition, the personel was very friendly and spoke good English! All that, with 2 glasses of wine, bottle of water and a fresh beverage for just over €80 for 2 persons. Perfect price-quality setting in my opinion! Congrats Cantina 26. You'll definitely see us again!

Gentile signore, sarebbe stato più onesto da parte sua motivare il giudizio di una valutazione così bassa. In questo modo non sappiamo neppure controbattere o renderci conto del motivo del suo malcontento. Tra l'altro dovremmo essere più dispiaciuti noi, dopo che ci ha rotto una sedia e non ha neppure chiesto scusa. Grazie ugualmente. We went after the Rugby and felt underdressed in our Rugby shirts but we were warmly welcomed and had a completely delightful evening - food was phenomenal with tons of vegan options and even an extra vegan special which I got (truffle ravioli - so so good)! Definitely recommend.

The waiter and waitress were very friendly. It was crowded with local people and that’s always a good sign???? However, the starters we had were rather average, the zucchini flower I had was bland and visually unappealing as well. The main dishes were a bit better.

We had lunch in Cantina 26 and the New Years Evening menu the day after. Excellent food, good wines and a nice service at reasoable prices. If you are close to the Vatikan, you should really consider a meal here.

The location was very comfortable and elegant. The quality of the seafood was great and superfresh. The price of the bill is a little bit hig, but considered the neighbourhood adeguated. Highly Raccomanded for a hig quality seafood dinner or lunch!

Very nice place, the location is less attractive, residence buildings around, relatively busy street with cars and busses. The restaurant as such is a good choice. The staff was excellent, kind, quick, my compliments for that. The food was very good. Having had a seafood plate, I enjoyed especially tender calamari and home made tiramisu. This of course not a specialty/fancy/expensive restaurant, but if you go there, you will get a very good standard of food and treatment.

This restaurant was a great find - not to far from where we are staying. The staff were pleasant and speak English (great since we have no Italian!) We have now visited twice and haven't been disappointed on either occasion. We we to be staying longer in Rome we would definitely visit again. If we come back to the same area again, we will ensure we visit Cantina 26 again. We have left a business card in our apartment for others to come visit the restaurant too.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise in Rome at the end of August and the holiday season . We were in search of seafood and we were lucky to find La Cantina . The dishes were fresh and well made . The staff were extremely helpful . We hope to return on our way back to Rome .

Plastic Tables and Chairs. The Food was expensive and really nothing special. The Watermelon was sour. Even with the the fork discount the food was not worth the money. I’m really sorry for the bad review I have to give but I can’t understand the good reviews. I was really disappointed. Rome has to offer a lot better than this

Gentile signore, ci chiediamo se lei in altri posti a Roma o in qualsiasi altra località, cenando all'aperto su un dehor esterno, trovi poltroncine in pelle e tavoli in radica di noce. Probabilmente il suo disappunto è dato del fatto che avendo diritto ad uno sconto, avrebbe fatto una buona cena a costo zero o quasi. Ma una promozione non vuol dire cenare gratis, specialmente al centro di Roma in una zona come il Vaticano. Sull'alta qualità della nostra proposta culinaria neppure ci pronunciamo: per noi le rispondono le centinaia di recensioni che riceviamo con il massimo del punteggio possibile. Evidentemente lei pensa che la maggior parte dei nostri clienti non capisce nulla di cibo e di buona ristorazione, mentre lei è l'unico a capirne!! Quanta saccenza! Ebbene, vada pure in tanti altri posti dove crede di poter mangiare meglio. Noi ci riserviamo di essere scelti da un target di clientela sicuramente superiore a lei e molto più consapevole di cosa voglia dire mangiare bene a Roma. Cordialità infinite!!!

Food is great, service extremely poor. We’ve been here a couple of times before but the attitude is always the same. You’re perceived as a means to increase check out as much as possible. If you don’t agree with all their suggestions to order more than you actually want you’ll be treated with disregard by the staff. Even though we’ve spent +€100,- for dinner. Very very unpleasant. The disrespect outweighs the quality of the food. Will never return to this place again Far better options available throughout Rome where you’re appreciated as a guest not as a living checkbook
