+3Really amazing spot. Food was wonderful. Wine list was large enough and fairly priced. Owner was beyond welcoming, nice and funny. Highly recommend.

10/10We were walking around the small alleys and we saw it for the first day arrived in Roma . We decided to visit it and we had a very good experience. The place was nice especially in to the store, the tastes was very delicious. It was a little bit expensive but it was worth it. I recommend unreservedly!!!

6.5/10Bruschetta with butter and anchovies was excellent. Nice selection of wine by the glass but no information on the producer, vintage, nothing, you order a brunello for 18 euros and they pour it in the back and bring it to your table. Tight quarters, very friendly staff especially Carla. Salumi and for Maggie was pretty average, none of the meats or cheese had an outstanding flavor.

7/10Its a basic restaurant, really little more than a bar, with stools to sit on at the tables inside. But the food more than makes up for it. The food is not sophisticated, but it is nicely cooked and very tasty. Staff were very good. There were a number of locals eating there the night we were there, which must be a good sign of a decent restaurant.

7/10Very small inside with a few outside tables. We were seated inside but quickly realized it was rather hot. The eggplant parm was very good , as was the bruschetta and anchovies. Quaint atmosphere . Service a bit slow. Too hot to eat leisurely.

We will be back!! Such a wonderful night— staff so friendly/knowledgeable—family owned!!! Home made olives (best we had)— great wine—sat outside in beautiful evening!! Melon with prosciutto like a scene out of “Eat, pray, love.”’ Ordered from nightly specials— did do lasagna bolognese (house specialty) — never really had lasagna until tonight!!!! Bread and ansjovis— meatballs with so much flavor and such a great mouth-feel! Tiramisu to end such a beautiful meal!! Most important— lots of locals with us tourists!! Kinda like finding that special restaurant in Rome!! Classic menu— approachable, delicious!

10/1010/10 for the staff, the food and the ambience. Definitely recommend the lasagna, the best I had since I remember, and the polpetta with lemon sauce. The cheesecake and the tiramisu were also amazing. The best restaurant/experience I’ve had in Rome, and I used to live there!

This little hidden gem on a quieter street was a wonderful dining experience! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The appetizers and mains were delicious and the wine was great! We had caprese and bruschetta for apps and lasagna and veal meatballs with pistachio sauce (a daily special). Make reservations, it’s a small place!

9/10We enjoy the restaurant ..It’s Quality fresh Roman ingredients simply prepared and excellent staff is a winner…The wine list is extensive and my wife is in the wine business..It’s a simple restaurant and perfect for a casual comfort food dinner …We were here 2 years ago and it is still as good…

10/10Bruschetta stracciatella was spectacular! My sister & had the lasagna with pumpkin and Gorgonzola cheese (special)- very good. My dad had the traditional lasagna & he was a happy man. Mom got the mortadella meatballs which 4/5 people at the table tasted & loved. I got the zucchini & scamorza lasagna (special) - it was fantastic, I need the recipe!! Panna cotta was raved by my family (I don’t prefer it, textural thing) Wine was very good - they will help choose a wine if you describe your preferences. Our server gave us some Limoncello at the end of the night - smooth & super potent. Had a nice buzz walking back to the VRBO. Service - omg she was so much fun. My dad has never met a stranger and neither has she. They clicked right away and it was so funny watching them tease each other. She would sing and dance to the music playing BUT she was always attentive to her patrons. So glad we went! Definitely need reservations - very small area for seating

10/10This cantina is a gem! So friendly and welcoming and the food is beyond words delicious! We also visited Cantina Belsiana in February of 2020 and it was exactly the same, like a warm Italian hug and the best food!! 5 stars!
