Good pizzas! Very good service! The staff gave my son a birthday cake! :) This place is a short walk from Hilton Milan, and is a good alternative if you want a place to eat nearby

The service was absolutely awful! They didn’t offer us any bread or olive oil etc and expected us to pay the €3pp for not providing any service. We also found a hair in our calamari and fish in our Margherita pizza. Absolutely shocking. When we informed management they did not care. I asked not to pay the €3pp as we were the only people not to receive any bread or dressing for the table (olive oil etc) and she said sometimes we don’t provide it - so I got up and checked every table and they all had it. She refused to let us not pay it despite our experience. The table next to us also complained as neither of us had hardly any cheese on our pizza either and the waitress got our original pizza order wrong. I pointed to the margarita as we don’t eat meat and she brought us a pizza with ham on it! Then the next pizza had fish in it. Appalling restaurant.

Our first night in Milan and what a lovely way to start. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t be more welcoming, we got a free small glass of Prosecco upon arrival too. The food was fantastic, we had a pizza each and shared some of the rosemary potatoes which if we weren’t full on pizza, we’d have ordered another bowl! The ambience was great, lovely decor and the music/noise level was just right.

It was our last night in Milan, and I was looking for a nice carbonara for myself, and my boyfriend wanted a pizza to finalize our Italian food experience. Happily, I found Cantina Meridional on Google, and I saw they had both dishes we were looking for, so I booked a table online. The place is beautiful, I really loved the decoration, the chairs, everything was super nice. Our waiter was a young man, very attentive, funny and friendly. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name. The carbonara was amazing, it was exactly what I was expecting from a real Italian carbonara. To finalize our great experience at Cantina, the waiter asked where I was from, and said that his colleague was also from Brasil. So I met Helena, a nice and super-friendly Brazilian that gave us a shot of limoncello so we could end our night in the best way possible. I can´t give enough compliments for this restaurant; hopefully, we will return there someday. Obrigada Helena <3

Great atmosphere, it was quiet when we arrived but quickly picked up. The decor and ambience were tasteful and romantic. We had great service from a knowledgeable waiter who spoke good English. The carbonara, and pistachio cheesecake, were highlights. It was a lovely last dinner in Italy.
