8.5/10A real place to visit, can HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The staff are lovely, kind and deeply professional nothing is too much trouble. The wines are mainly local and are excellent. The extra touches are a joy, n extra amuse buche whilst you are awaiting a starter, a lovely plate of surprising bread selections and the presentation of all the dishes is worthy of a Michelin restaurant. The food is simple but tasty hence 4 of 5 stars. Restaurant is super close to Monteriggiano at the foot of the castle and with ample FREE parking and free of the tourist trap which is a bonus

9.5/10We really enjoyed our lunch at Cantinale. We had excellent pastas followed by the cod dish with some potatoes and grilled vegetables. All were perfectly prepared and delicious. The ambience is a bit spare, but fine. If it hadn’t been so hot, we would have very much enjoyed their lovely patio. Recommend!!

10/10Lunch on the patio. Food was excellent. Drank wine from grapes grown behind the restaurant which sit on a hill leading to Castello DI Monteriggioni

Buongiorno David, grazie per la Sua recensione, che in tutta onestà mi meraviglia un po’… Il nostro Staff è stato cordiale e sorridente come sempre durante tutta la cena (e come le molte recensioni precedenti dimostrano), trovando freddezza da parte Vostra! Per cena avete preso in 4 persone: 1 insalata e 3 primi. Su vostra richiesta il nostro personale vi ha riportato più volte il cestino del pane con il quale avete fatto la “bruschetta” con l’olio, e sempre con il sorriso e la gentilezza che ci contraddistingue. Addirittura al momento del conto ci siamo intrattenuti con voi, ridendo per qualche momento. Per questo il Vostro giudizio ci sembra inappropriato!

10/10We had a beautiful lunch celebrating our wedding and the food was delicious. The host was so wonderful and accomodating, they made us a beautiful wedding cheese cake and gifted us a bottle of wine. It was the perfect lunch for our day and I would love to do it all over again!

10/10Cantinale was perfect! The set up was spacious and calm and we had a beautiful table outside. The food was delicious, the wines from their own castle just perfect and try service very kind! The tables where beautifully decorated and you could feel it is a place where locals like to have dinner and celebrate dinners. It is very easy to reach and there is good parking space in front and even though it is well located the road is. In front of the building and. did not bother at all
