10/10Best meal so far this week. Food lovely I had the chicken breast with mushrooms, a lovely creamy sauce with rice and vegetables and then a superb chocolate mousse. We all enjoyed the food, wine and the service was friendly and the restaurant very welcoming. We will be dining here again!

10/10Felt totally at home from the moment we walked in. Staff was extremely welcoming and came right over to greet us, our table was ready, and he then came over showing us all the actual fresh fish being offered. Enjoyed a fantastic half bottle of Portuguese white wine that was recommended. I had one of the top 2 grilled octopus dishes I have ever tasted! Melted in your mouth it was so tender. My friend ordered the Sailor’s Sole and it was delicious. It was highly recommended to me by a friend and I would tell everyone it is a place not to be missed. Perfect from start to finish, which was a shot of Amarguinha, a Portuguese liqueur offered by the staff as a closure our evening. Thank you for a dinner to remember!!!

10/10Very accommodating as half our party arrived very early. When we all arrived at requested time we had the best service. Every member of staff was delightful and the food arrived all together . The dishes were all delicious and all the party were happy with their choice. All beautifully presented and the choice of food was excellent. Very happy diners well done we would definitely recommend

9/10Very authentic and local restaurant. Great dishes (we tried a variety of the tapas + chicken) which were very tasty and of very good quality. Good combination of locals and some tourists. Would definitely go there again to try the other menu options.

10/10I cannot rate this gem of a place high enough. They are attentive, kind and helpful and the food is of the top quality. We have been twice already during our 2 week stay nearby and have booked for a third time. We may even pop in for a 4th time before we leave. Excellent in all areas.

10/10We had a mixture of tapas, house steak and lamb chops. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our host spoke English and Portuguese and was happy to guide us through the menu and make suggestions. We look forward to visiting again.

8.5/10Very friendly staff who were helpful, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The food was good and the portions generous. We were too full to test the desserts!! The parking was easy and on the roadside along two sides of the building. Good location between Lagoa and Vale da Lobo but just off the main road. We will visit again 😊

10/10An absolutely terrific dining experience. We visited on Monday and had such a brilliant time we decided to return on Friday for their tapas night. 10 tapas for 15 Euros which was incredible value for such high quality food, beautifully presented. The staff were wonderful - super efficient and friendly. I thoroughly recommend this place.

We were keen to try the Tapas 10 Friday menu and we weren’t disappointed. The staff were lovely and welcoming and were pleased to explain the menu and the wines to us. We had to book an early table due to family arrangements so the restaurant was a little bit quiet until about 8.30pm. That said, we had the full attention of the staff! As for the food - I can only say it was one of the best (and biggest) meals I’ve had in Portugal. There was an initial soup starter, which was followed by two wooden platters of tapas (the menu varies weekly). Charcuterie, cheese, ceviche and local dishes. A simple fish of baked egg with chickpeas, onions and peppers was amazing but there wasn’t a dish that we didn’t love. A fantastic night - well done guys!

9/10Totally lovely restaurant with superb and attentive service. They had 3 or 4 platters for sharing that sounded fantastic but were too pricey for us (fish was 25 euros each, I don’t recall the price of the standard meat one, and the high end meat one was 60 euro per person). So we shared a Cantinho steak which had a slice of pork and a heavy sauce, plus we had to try fried cuttlefish strips, and very delicious white sangria. The total bill was 41 euros and the service was so wonderful we tipped 10 more.

I ordered small plates: glass of red wine (and they asked if I preferred cold or room temp, thank you), small salad with lettuce, tomatoes, beets, and carrots (I've missed the last 2 since Im in the Algarve), delicious vegetable soup though it could have been hotter, , bread (not so great),

10/10Fantastic all round! Truly traditional food that you do not see sadly on many Portuguese menus in Algarve. We have visited many times and have never had 1 complaint. This family run business has become one of our true favourites. The food is cooked authentically and the waiters are so knowledgeable about how it is cooked and the produce sourced. Their passion shines through from start to finish. We took a family member recently and was his first visit….. he loved the variety on the menu ( been visiting over 20 years) and absolutely loved the place, staff and food! I almost don’t want to share as it’s a hidden gem that I want to keep a secret :)

10/10After a few changes of management, this restaurant has found its niche. Really good food in a nice setting. Staff are really helpful and on the ball. We've eaten here a few times now and everything is fresh and tasty. Slightly on the higher end of the price scale - around €30 per head for olives, bread, main course, desert, coffee and a caneca. They do a tapas special on a Friday and a meat platter to share on Saturday. Not tried these yet but plan to do so in the coming weeks.

10/10We went on a Friday when there’s a Tapas Menu offered. €15 per person for 10 tapas. It’s very good value, drinks inexpensive as well. The service was really good, fluent English spoken also. It’s a nice cozy restaurant.
