Is missing in the food the true African seasoning. Felt like the food is cooked for people who can handle seasoning/ even spicy. We ordered sweet potato fried that arrived cold and to be honest felt like they were not hand cooked. The chicken samosa was really tasty ( deffo recommend), the caril Camarao was good but I think it needed more African seasoning. The nuamba de Galinha came with one quiabo with bit pieces of chicken that needed salt and more seasoning. Felt like the plates needed more for African cuisine. Just think that this place is catering specifically to tourists who can’t handle the real seasoning

I was craving shrimps with rice and was recommended this restaurant by my friend. The staff is very friendly and respectful, they made me feel extremely comfortable. The place is cosy and clean. The sauce that came with the shrimps was not a regular curry but something I have never tasted before, I highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I will return soon!

Nothing special. Expensive for what it was, It appeared to be no different from an Indian or Bangladeshi restaurant—certainly not very “African.”

The vegetarian vegan options are excellent!The massamba and makoufe or delicious! This is the best food and the best restaurant I have been to in Portugal 🙂, highly recommended!!
