9/10+14We had a 22-course tasting menu—excellent quality fish food and an innovative approach. However, we are not so fond of wine quality. We would appreciate higher standards to match the food level.

10/10Beautiful restaurant and table settings. The ambience was perfect for dining on superb food. Each meal was a delight; visually, taste and portion size spot on. Was a culinary adventure. Service was attentive and come with great recommendations. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Capasanta to anyone visiting or local if they want to go on a seafood culinary adventure. Definitely worth the money.

10/10This is the best most amazing food we have experienced on our Italian adventure- the starters out of this world- the pasta just better than you can dream of - love this place - and the host is just charming, knowledgeable and caring - what else can you ask for? If people visit Pompei and miss out this place … they miss out the essence of Italian hospitality- hope to be back soon - ..,,

10/10Such a beautiful surprise. We went early and it was quiet. The waiter was extremely friendly and competent; he explained the menu, made us great propositions. Pompei is not a great city and this restaurant was an oasis in the desert!

10/10We were in Pompie for the ruins till late in the day and went down to Piazza Bartolo Longo, the main square by the Catholic Church, for dinner. There were several places to choose from and we chose Capasanta. The four of us typically all get different dishes and share. Everyone loved everything. It all had the right balance of flavors and textures. Staff was attentive and the chef visited our table to talk about the dishes. I wish I was not on vacation so I could put this place in the dinner rotation. I looked up Capasanta on trip advisor after going there and saw all of the reviews were 5 star. I would agree with all the others 5 STARS.

5.5/10First we booked on the fork (with 20%off) a table for 1:30, but waited 10 mins for the waitress to come ???? Two of the stuff we wanted to try were sold out… Then waited about 35 mins for the two appetisers to arrived The scallops with pea purée and summer truffle was really soso. Maybe I have high standard for seared scallops , it was cold in the middle, they didn’t defrost the scallops completely and they were tasteless. ( not naturally sweet at all) Summer truffles were tasteless as well … Though the pea sauce is really nice. The deep fried prawns were ok but nothing crazy. Prawns tasted fresh but seems like a bit overpriced 14 euros for 4. Pasta with tuna was very puzzling ???? like they put Japanese Katsuobushi. The taste was ok but I just don’t understand the combination ( maybe to locals this is very new and innovative ) The bill they round up higher to 50 euros when after discount should be 49. I mean it was ok but I prefer to go somewhere else more delicious and would be cheaper.

10/10We were super impressed by this restaurant! Both by the food and the service. We can see that the chef is dedicated to what he does and is ambitious. Food especially deserts are very creative. Remember to try the “smoke on the beach”!
