10/10Everything was perfect from start to finish! Attentive staff who had a passion for the food and wine. Every dish from the tasting menu was superb and they happily catered for my tastes. Deer in the Rain was amazing and worth the trip to Rome just for this!! Amazing experience, can’t recommend highly enough.

10/10Perfect food - very well balanced with various flavors Nice service - kind explanation and nice that they were willing to change a glass of wine for my friend who preferred another taste of wine. Very professional! Witty but serious - the chef tries to create a playful dish looking like a mini burger but with surprising ingredients and humorous name coming from a popular TV series. I loved it since it's not boring. Many thanks to the whole team!

2/10We walked in and were greeted by a barking dog. My wife has dog allergies and we asked to be seated away from the dog. The restaurant would not accommodate our request and we quickly left. Quite a disappointment.

+2My husband and I took a chance to eat there recently because we are vegetarians. However, we were pleasantly surprised how the Chef accommodated us by being creative and serving amazing vegetarian small bites to share for starters! The Carrot carrots entree that was on the menu was amazing and the Ravioli pizza was also delicious and vegetarian. Finally, the desert was vegan and so delicious as it was a combination of salty and sweet. It was a wonderful birthday dinner in Rome! I would definitely go back and have recommended this restaurant to my friends and clients who are not vegetarians and the vegetarians as well.

10/10This is my favourite restaurant in Rome and an experience not to be missed! The food is superlative, the service is extraordinary and the decor is very elegant. You owe yourself a dinner or several there.

+3Truly amazing in every way! The ambiance was clean and understated, using natural elements and a neutral color palate. The food was 10/10 for presentation, creativity, and taste. The service was unparalleled. We had three wait staff serving us throughout the meal and each was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. This meal was truly one of the top I have had in my life.

+3Run, don’t walk, to have dinner at this amazing restaurant! We initially had another reservation at another Michelin-starred restaurant here in Rome but decided to change our plans due to the reviews that the other restaurant had. We stumbled on Carter Oblio here on The Fork. We got lucky and was able to snag a reservation! It was only a 16 minute walk from our Airbnb. From the decor, ambiance, extremely welcoming and knowledgeable staff, we knew we made the right decision to cancel our previous dinner plans to come here. The food, my goodness the food. Amazing, delicious, memorable, magnificent, and so much more!! It’s difficult to describe because IT’S THAT GREAT! We decided to try the 5-course tasting menu with the wine pairing, and that was another great decision made. Truly, it was more like more than 7 courses if you include all the amuse buche. The Carrot Carrot Carrot and dessert were definitely the highlight of our perfect meal! Bravissimo! Compliments to the entire team!!

The service was excellent, Mateo and team took care of us. Our meal was unique, delicious, what you would expect from an amazing restaurant. Perfectly paired with wine. Mateo explained food and wine pairings to my non foodie, hearing impaired husband with amazing patience, for which I am grateful! Great 60th birthday celebration. Loved it!

10/10Carter Oblio was undoubtedly one of best culinary experiences we have had. From the start, the service was excellent. Nothing was rushed. The quality of the food was spectacular, dishes worth mentioning were the Mackerel and the Deer. The staff were very kind to give us a recommendation for the wine, which was exactly what we were after. A must visit in Rome, I would highly recommend.

One of the best meals of my life. Antonio was wonderful! Welcoming, knowledgeable and patient with our big family and youngest child. The aesthetic is boho & modern with sophisticated design and attention to detail. Every dish, every perfectly composed piece was not only thoughtfully produced and executed but presented in such a way that was refined rustic with handmade pottery and varying heights and layers to the tablescape. Made my designer heart so happy. The whole thing was a complete one-of-a-kind experience. Like a composed symphony with the conductor teaching you about each note and tone.

The service was impeccable. The food was great as well. The flavors are more refined than my palate but it was all still very enjoyable. It was a foodies type of place. Good value however and excellent service. Overall i would highly recommend whether you are a foodie or want to try something different and first class.

5.5/10I honestly can’t believe this is so highly rates and has a michelin star. The food was below average - we had the pigeon, and the poppy pasta that tasted strangely sweet. The people were very nice and the ambience is nice too - but the food is just not worth the price or the michelin status

+6We dined at this restaurant tonight. The food is absolutely amazing and delicious. All dishes are well prepared and presented. Duck in the Pond, Bitter Calamari, Ravioli, Rare Chicken and Pork with Hops Infusion…Desserts are very tasty too. Best part - it’s not pricey. The server is extremely helpful and friendly.

10/10Dining experience was amazing all around. We chose to go with the 5-course tasting menu with wine pairings, and all food was incredibly well executed. Only complaint on the food & wine service was that the wine pairings were poured very small - this felt very stingy given the cost. More generous pours would have been appreciated. Only other disappointment came when we received the bill and were charged additionally for bread course and water - this was a surprise as typical experience with a tasting menu price is that it is "all inclusive", and thus felt misleading.

10/10'Must-Visit Restaurant' in Rome This restaurant strives to stay true to the essence of dining. From the booking process to the end of the course, the staff put their all into every aspect. The chefs possess both passion and skill, while the servers have the expertise and kindness to perfectly convey that passion. The quality of this restaurant certainly does not fall short of any 2-star establishments I've visited before. Thanks again for the perfect ending to our last night in Italy.
