One of the menu's highlights is the aptly named "carrots, carrots, carrots," heralding the star ingredient. A complex dish with a smooth, intense flavor, it is indescribable, but it explodes with flavor. I ordered something called "Columbus's Egg." It included a soft-boiled egg and vegetables prepared as they would in the 15th Century. Well, Columbus might have thought he docked in India, but at least he ate well during his miscalculation. I found his egg delicious. Churros Di Genovese sounded fantastic, but was a tad bit dry and needed the provided dipping sauces. My Fettuccine di Farina Bruciata al Ragù di Orto e Cortile alla Brace was friggen amazing. The pasta was al dente and cooked perfectly. I wanted more. The bread tasting was unique and great. We shared a 2 Pac Man for dessert, and it too was very good.

I had Sunday lunch here with my sister, and it turned out to be such a great surprise. We picked it randomly on The Fork, but everything - from the stylish interior to the beautiful presentation - really impressed us. The staff were warm and professional, and the food was genuinely delicious. A spontaneous choice that ended up being one of the highlights of our weekend.

Well curated menu and great food quality! Great interior design and minimal aesthetic. Initially the pacing was perfect but as the evening got busier wait times b/w dishes became a bit longer. Accommodating to dietary preferences. We opted for the 7 course + wine pairing and the combination were spot on, truly fantastic wines that complemented the meals well. Highly recommend!

The restaurant was kind to accommodate some extra people in our party. We go the 5 course tasting menu with the wine. The service was impeccable! We loved the detailed description of each course and the wine pairing. The portions were very large..you will be very full by the end! Highlights were the courses "carrots carrots carrots" and the squid game "burger". I would highly recommend this place for a change from ybe usual classic Italian food

I previously gave this restaurant a 5 star review. However, I didn't have a great experience yesterday. Different chef maybe?

Interesting and very tasty food selection. We had 5 course tasting menu with pairing. Four of the five courses were excellent. The one exception, we didn’t feel the deconstructed pizza was different enough to the original, just presented in separate elements. Very professional friendly service. Wine waiter very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Although I thought some of the selections of wine were too similar.

We loved everything about our dining experience. The design and atmosphere of the restaurant, the attentiveness of the service team, all the dishes, their flavors and stories/interpretations and mostly local origin. We had a wonderful evening at Carter Oblio. Also: thank you so so much for the delicious pasta for our daughter! We will definitely come back the next time we are in Rome!!!

Everything was perfect from start to finish! Attentive staff who had a passion for the food and wine. Every dish from the tasting menu was superb and they happily catered for my tastes. Deer in the Rain was amazing and worth the trip to Rome just for this!! Amazing experience, can’t recommend highly enough.

Perfect food - very well balanced with various flavors Nice service - kind explanation and nice that they were willing to change a glass of wine for my friend who preferred another taste of wine. Very professional! Witty but serious - the chef tries to create a playful dish looking like a mini burger but with surprising ingredients and humorous name coming from a popular TV series. I loved it since it's not boring. Many thanks to the whole team!

+8We picked 5 course degustation menu. All dishes were delicious, well prepared and well balanced. Michelin star menu. Definitely will visit again. All waitresses are explain every detail very well. Congratulations.

We walked in and were greeted by a barking dog. My wife has dog allergies and we asked to be seated away from the dog. The restaurant would not accommodate our request and we quickly left. Quite a disappointment.
