8.5/10Kinda overpriced and honestly theres no need for those cheap ipad/tablet menus, we had two die on us before we could even finish looking through the options.

First dinner in Spain this trip and had high expectations. Unfortunately both the ambiance and the food were somewhat lacking. We mentioned the special occasion under our reservation, but were still seated in a very cramped lower floor in a tiny table sandwiched between others, with ceiling reachable by hand when standing up, food options were kinda limited and the octopus that we were excited about came out pretty chewy and rubbery, and we had much better ones in New York and Portugal. Also the restroom was not working or being cleaned while we were dining there, and we were told we had to go to their venue next door from outside then go downstairs… All is all, Service was still good, and most food was flavorful but we were not blown away especially given the price level. Last trip we had a much more satisfactory dinner next door at Nine.

6.5/10Overpriced and overhyped. The atmosphere is nice, food not so. I always wanted to go there, but now that i’ve been I don’t think i’ll go again. Feels like a tourist trap. The only thing that had good taste were the croquettes.

I visit here every year, the food just keeps getting better. Great food, made from fresh products that are sold at the nearby market. Like home-cooked food at my mother's, when at my grandmother's, it's amazing. I definitely recommend it and I'll definitely come back. So many appetizers, starters and main courses. I've tried almost everything, nothing has disappointed. That feeling when you leave satisfied because the food was amazing! The kitchen is fantastic, there's still room for improvement in service, but the chef is already a metal from heaven! Thank you for the amazing food!

9.5/10Lovely service with an engaging, knowledgable server, Bryan. And, while we have been to Spain and to Barceloan multiple times, we simply had the best paella we've ever had! My husbamdhad the beef and oyster and I had black rice and seafood. Stunningly good.

8/10We always pay a visit to Casa Amalia when in Barcelona, because we love the food and the ambience. Last time something went wrong in the kitchen and we had to wait too long for the food, but the way they copped with the incident was excellent and very professional. In view of this, we left the place happy for one more time.

The offer of main course was poor due to run out of few platters. The paella with rabbit (don’t remember the name) was ok, but less than expected. We were seating outside and was too cold, that isn’t their fault but they should reduce the amount of tables when the weather isn’t too friendly. We asked for some liquor and they were out of Grappa and Amaretto.

10/10We came to celebrate my partner's birthday. A party of 5. We were seated right away and had a delicious meal of starters and paella. We received the attention of several wait staff and made to feel welcome. Don't miss their cheesecake dessert.
