Good food, ambience OK (winter), service very fast, maybe they want you to go home early

The menu del dia was good, but the service could have been better. We were served soup and left without spoons for some time. Had to ask twice for water. Overall, it felt perfunctory.

Food was really terrible. Fish below the worst restaurants of the region. Frozen, of course and not fresh. Very badly prepared. Taste and smell painful. A restaurant to avoid,

Beautiful spot for dinner! We absolutely loved the burrata salad and croquetas but probably the worse patatas bravas I’ve ever had … we did order the coca pan flatbread but didn’t realise it’s a pizza! It’s a huge portion! It was disappointing that there wasn’t any Spanish desserts - quite touristy but a lovely dinner all the same. Looking around - would recommend ordering traditional dishes like potato with octopus, chiperones, fish etc. (I was hosting my mum who was a bit scared to go off piste).

Fantastic setting in an old building infront of the cathedral doors , Casa Balcells has it all, great menu with very well prepared and presented dishes full of flavour. The staff are very attentive and informing so enhancing your visit. We went back and loved it. 🍷

Friendly place, nice environment, but no table gloth, excellent and in part innovative food, excellent wines ("Les Brugueres" from Priorat).

Food was totally over priced and Not very good. Chips came out raw burger over done. Fish came out cold. We were told they ran out of Gas to cook food. Horrible experience 😪

Excellent location… and warm on a cold evening. Limited choice for veggies, but what they had was fantastic. Don’t miss out on the crystalline bread or the mushroom croquettes! Really good service

Unbelievable location. Excellent food. Try the Pulpo de roca, my absolute all time favourite.

Price is higher than value. And they don’t allow to pay with Fork application. But the view on Cathedral is nice

The setting is wonderful and the food great. Don’t expect anything special from the service but it was perfectly fine.

We liked this lively historic restaurant. A beautiful setting by the cathedral, we were shown into the basement to see the old masonry and wine cave. The food was tasty, would recommend
