8/10The menu del dia was good, but the service could have been better. We were served soup and left without spoons for some time. Had to ask twice for water. Overall, it felt perfunctory.

9/10Beautiful spot for dinner! We absolutely loved the burrata salad and croquetas but probably the worse patatas bravas I’ve ever had … we did order the coca pan flatbread but didn’t realise it’s a pizza! It’s a huge portion! It was disappointing that there wasn’t any Spanish desserts - quite touristy but a lovely dinner all the same. Looking around - would recommend ordering traditional dishes like potato with octopus, chiperones, fish etc. (I was hosting my mum who was a bit scared to go off piste).

Fantastic setting in an old building infront of the cathedral doors , Casa Balcells has it all, great menu with very well prepared and presented dishes full of flavour. The staff are very attentive and informing so enhancing your visit. We went back and loved it. 🍷

9/10Friendly place, nice environment, but no table gloth, excellent and in part innovative food, excellent wines ("Les Brugueres" from Priorat).

4.5/10Food was totally over priced and Not very good. Chips came out raw burger over done. Fish came out cold. We were told they ran out of Gas to cook food. Horrible experience 😪

8.5/10Excellent location… and warm on a cold evening. Limited choice for veggies, but what they had was fantastic. Don’t miss out on the crystalline bread or the mushroom croquettes! Really good service
