Amazing. Really know their wines paired a fantastic regional wine to compliment our outstanding food. Restaurant tucked off the main street perfect for relaxing meal. Food was so fresh and full of flavor.

This was our second time to Casa Cappellari. Came last year and we had to come back again. Carlos was the best!

lovely meal, we had the squid inc pasta,truffle and pumpkin lasagna and cheesecake and everything was presented lovely and tasted even better! The service was impeccable, we would come back here again and definelty recommend!

Wonderful food, wine and service. Don't be afraid of restaurant's location being in a touristy area, it's a bit away from the busy street - located on a nice and quiet corner. Highly reccomend.

Food was excellent and novel. Good choice and variety. Creative. Expansive wine choice so we ordered house wine by the glass. Very good. Usually it is. The chef won’t pick bad wine. Service could have been better. The first dish arrived before the wine. Separately, I think we had a trainee. The inside looked nice but we are outside which is kind of odd alleyway. There was a rude American brat 3 tables away talking to her mommy on FaceTime at full volume. The restaurant should have let her know that was not acceptable. But I would go back and eat inside next time.

Fabulous food , fresh fish, amazing use of herbs , well presented. Good atmosphere and friendly knowledgeable staff that went that extra mile with their attention to detail . Certainly will visit again .many thanks for a memorable evening.

We spent a wonderful evening at this fantastic restaurant -both locals and tourists eating here - service spot on, the Grilled Turbot cooked to perfection, and 'Cod Raviolli' handmade and looked and tasted amazing. Chianti Classical 2018 also very good - not too expensive for Venice good value considering high quality - as always in general you get what you pay for in life.

Very elegant and refined cuisine. Decoration of the place a bit cold and lack ambiance. Amazing home made sorbets.

The food was incredible. Great quality and absolutely delicious. The service was perfect and everyone was so friendly. The wine was perfect. I loved my grilled octopus and the lamb chops were so tender and I had to have the tart tartin which was so delish !! It was all perfect

Visit with 3 persons, different first and seconds, almost no dish perfect, receipe or execution flaws everywhere. Eadible but not yummy. Should change the cook.

Great modern take on Venice cuisine, great ingredients, imaginative dishes beautifully presented and at very good value for quality dishes. Delightful staff and extensive wine list made for a great experience. First class.

Fantastic and very attentive service and great grilled fish, prawns, calamari and mussels! Quite place and street just few minutes from Ponte Rialto. Had great relaxing time with my sister visiting from Athens, Greece. Grazie mille!

Recommended by an Italian colleague. Loved it. Seafood of tree day was excellent with attractive presentation. Fidelis Zambon was a delicious pairing. Decaf cappuccino was superb and it was decaf!

Great service. Staff was excellent and very attentive but the food had too much salt in it.

Excellent food. Service should have been better. As the restaurant got busy the level of service dropped. Waited to long between main course and desert. Decided not to have dessert a no d coffees as a result.

My Experience in the Restaurant was really disappointing. Food: The quality of the food was quite ok except the meat, they were selling something it wasn’t what they said. The food was not well cooked neither, for example, I did order a risotto and it has been the worst I have ever tried. Service: It was everything coming too late, too much time between dishes. The service was but quite of nice, except when at the end I tried to complain about the food, one got my message but the other was just ignoring me. Place: Nice, cozy and well decorated

We enjoyed a 5-course meal, special menu for New Year’s Eve (priced at €140, drinks excluded). Overall, a pleasant atmosphere and tasty food (with few exceptions: the cacao ravioli filled with pigeon were quite bland, and the consommé very watery or the 3-chocolate bavarois, that was more of an ice-cream than a bavarois). Food that stand out: the entrée (a gazpacho with burrata cream), the tagliolini with chlorophyll and prawns, the traditional eel on polenta. Service was not fully confident and at times disjointed: we asked a waiter what flavour the sorbet was, he replied “mandarin”, while later we discovered it was “celeriac”! We just felt that a regular restaurant trying to offer a sort of refined dinner needs to polish its technique, for future occasions.

Off the main area and no views but the food and service make up for it. The modern interior and views of the kitchen created an interesting atmosphere once the tables filled with guests.
