We liked it so much we came two days in a row. The location is great and the restaurant itself has a special atmosphere -tiled floors and walls, windows with views of the neighbourhood architecture. And the food is stunning.

The food was fantastic. The apple and raspberry combination was delicious — perfectly balanced between sweet and fresh. The potato bravas was one of the fanciest dishes I’ve ever tried, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The beef was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The service was also very impressive, attentive and professional throughout the whole experience.

The waiters were very friendly, but the food was nothing special. The steak was barely warm, and the smashed potatoes on the side were really just plain, smashed potatoes without any seasoning. My wife's paella on the other hand was almost too salty. Overall, the food was mostly okay, but I wouldn't recommend going there. Even with 50% Fork discount, I would say it's a bad price/value. Definitely the worst place we've eaten during our 4 days stay in Barcelona.

We ordered 4 dishes and a dessert tonight. oysters and porcini almond milk croquettes 3/5 not bad but nothing spectacular Aged beef tenderloin and Iberian pork shoulder 0/5 Overcooked and very dry. Irregularly-shaped and poor quality. NO seasoning. Homemade cheese cake with cookies and cream ice-cream 2/5 Homemade? Restaurant itself is beautiful except that the chef was too noisy explaining to the couple behind for 15 minutes why he could not execute the dishes properly. Super annoying.

Food was excellent. We got oysters, turbot, and beef tenderloin. Service was a bit slow as it seemed there were only 2 waiters for the entire place. They tried to be attentive but with 2 for the entire restaurant, service was subpar. We got our main entrees first and the grilled veggie sides came when we were almost done our meal.... It was delicious but would have preferred the sides to be served concurrently.

The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The service was excellent — attentive and friendly, with detailed explanations for each dish. The roasted duck breast was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the pairing with pear was just perfect. The flan was smooth and delicate, though a little on the sweet side for my taste. The grilled turbot was also enjoyable, though the skin was slightly overdone and a bit charred. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience and I would definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our experience! The service was warm and attentive, the atmosphere inviting, and the food outstanding. I had the turbot, which was perfectly cooked, while my husband enjoyed the pluma ibérica, equally delicious. Everything—from start to finish—was excellent.

Food and the price were excellent. the service also at the same level. The only issue was that we went there for the oysters, but they ran out. However the experience was pretty satisfying. Definitely coming back again.

The food was subpar compared to the other meals we had in Barcelona. The steak was extremely overcooked. The turbot was filleted so poorly that it was difficult to eat with all the bones. All in all just a huge disappointment. The only positive was the wait staff—friendly and quite attentive. With so many choices in Barcelona, they need to do better.

The atmosphere is typical of a hotel restaurant. The menu was limited with many dishes meant for sharing between two people. The prices may seem affordable at first glance but the portions are quite small. On the positive side the service was friendly.

The menu here is extremely limited, offering only a handful of dishes. The aged beef tenderloin I had was excellent but an extremely small portion size for the price. I expected a full steak instead of two small pieces of meat with a single baby carrot. Overall, tasty food and great wine, but portions need to be bigger.

The food was great, even though the quantity was quite little. We ordered a rice, which cost 21€ and said at the bottom it should be for 2 people. In our understanding, this means that the dish that costs 21€ is enough for 2 people. However, it was not the case, as they meant that we must order that dish twice, therefore 42€ in total. This left us a bit disappointed, as we did not think the dish was worth that kind of money neither was it enough for 2 people.

The bet thing about the pace is Carola. She guided us through the wonderful food choices expertly. And she was so friendly too. And the food was some of the best we’ve ever tasted. We had the Iberian ham croquettes, brioche, open potato omelette with red prawns and the grilled aubergine combo. All the dishes were excellent, with subtle touches here and there that both delighted and mystified the palate. We highly and enthusiastically recommend Casa de Vivi. You will not be disappointed.

It’s not worth the money. We had dinner and ordered three starters. The mushroom croquette was excellent, but the duck and pear croquette had no flavor of either duck or pear. The beef tartare was made like on a cooking show. The chef came, silently mixed the tartare, put it on the table, and left without explaining anything. The tartare was decent, but in our opinion, it lacked spices or balsamic vinegar. For the main course, we decided to try the red rice with shrimp. It was an absolutely terrible experience. The shrimp overwhelmed the rice's flavor, and ketchup ruined everything else. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate dessert with three textures. It turned out to be salty, which is an acquired taste. The cheesecake was dense and not sweet. The espresso wasn’t good. The bill for two was €134. The service was polite and unobtrusive. They took the order without repeating it, and they didn’t clean the crumbs from the table between the main course and dessert.
