6.5/10The atmosphere is typical of a hotel restaurant. The menu was limited with many dishes meant for sharing between two people. The prices may seem affordable at first glance but the portions are quite small. On the positive side the service was friendly.

9/10The menu here is extremely limited, offering only a handful of dishes. The aged beef tenderloin I had was excellent but an extremely small portion size for the price. I expected a full steak instead of two small pieces of meat with a single baby carrot. Overall, tasty food and great wine, but portions need to be bigger.

10/10The food was great, even though the quantity was quite little. We ordered a rice, which cost 21€ and said at the bottom it should be for 2 people. In our understanding, this means that the dish that costs 21€ is enough for 2 people. However, it was not the case, as they meant that we must order that dish twice, therefore 42€ in total. This left us a bit disappointed, as we did not think the dish was worth that kind of money neither was it enough for 2 people.

The bet thing about the pace is Carola. She guided us through the wonderful food choices expertly. And she was so friendly too. And the food was some of the best we’ve ever tasted. We had the Iberian ham croquettes, brioche, open potato omelette with red prawns and the grilled aubergine combo. All the dishes were excellent, with subtle touches here and there that both delighted and mystified the palate. We highly and enthusiastically recommend Casa de Vivi. You will not be disappointed.

5.5/10It’s not worth the money. We had dinner and ordered three starters. The mushroom croquette was excellent, but the duck and pear croquette had no flavor of either duck or pear. The beef tartare was made like on a cooking show. The chef came, silently mixed the tartare, put it on the table, and left without explaining anything. The tartare was decent, but in our opinion, it lacked spices or balsamic vinegar. For the main course, we decided to try the red rice with shrimp. It was an absolutely terrible experience. The shrimp overwhelmed the rice's flavor, and ketchup ruined everything else. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate dessert with three textures. It turned out to be salty, which is an acquired taste. The cheesecake was dense and not sweet. The espresso wasn’t good. The bill for two was €134. The service was polite and unobtrusive. They took the order without repeating it, and they didn’t clean the crumbs from the table between the main course and dessert.

9/10We had a fabulous dinner! We took our dog and they were so sweet with him, brought him water and a bed to sit on. The food was incredible, so were the desserts!

10/10The staff at Fauna were all incredibly friendly and attentive. For our table, Barbara provided excellent recommendations and ensured we had a superb experience for our birthday celebration. The paella was delightful, made with fresh, high-quality seafood. The bravas were also a standout, with a layered crisp texture with two perfectly seasoned sauces on top. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Fauna.

10/10We had a wonderful evening at Casa de Vivi and can recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a beautiful setting. The restaurant is located on the first floor of a hotel and has a classy interior design. The dishes were Catalan specialties with a gastronomic twist. Besides, our waitress Christina was very polite and attentive and made our evening even more unforgettaable.

5.5/10Unfortunately we found the portion sizes very small and the service was extremely slow. The staff were all very friendly and apologised but it wasn't the meal we were hoping for from our first night in Barcelona and we were still hungry when we left.

6/10The service and ambience was great however we ordered a seafood paella for 50€ which had only 1 shrimp and 3 thin slices of squid pp. Lastly the portion size was made for a pigeon.

We found this place by accident on the fork and it was the best choice for an amazing night with really great food, nice staff and atmosphere! The staff was super nice and friendly, making us feel really welcome! The food was really good, in particular the fried cod with honey and lime; so delicious.

6.5/10Lovely setting and we managed to go up to the rooftop bar first which was fantastic. We are at 8.30pm so maybe that’s why but it was very quiet, everyone could hear each others conversations, louder music would have helped. Food was delicious however one of my meals was meant to come with a tomato sauce and it didn’t - I forgot until after the meal. Staff were exceptional though.

10/10I had my birthday dinner at this restaurant and we all had a great experience. The ambiente is so beautiful and the food excellent! They have a good variety of food choices on their menu. They made the traditional tapas into something exquisite and that elevated the taste even more. Eventhough we were 7 people and ordered a lot, they still managed to serve fast. The waiter was so kind, patient and funny :) he noticed that I had birthday on that night and even surprised me with a dessert with a candle on it, which I really appreciated and was surprised from! I would definitely come back and also recommend it. Thank you for having us. It was a night to remember, indeed.
