9/10The ambient is amazing and also the vibes is very elegant and friendly. Probably this time the food was not so tasty like usual but always above the average. I will recommend anyway Casa dos Pecados as one of the best new age tascas in Lisbon.

10/10I recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and delicious food. From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly and attentive, greeting us with a warm smile and promptly taking our orders. The menu offered a wide range of options to suit every taste, and we opted for the risotto nero and the naco na pedra both dishes were expertly prepared and presented, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The flavors were bold and well-balanced, and we left feeling full and satisfied. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

10/10A lovely and cozy gem hidden within the streets of the capital. The restaurant as a rustic and humble atmosphere The team is warm and welcoming with Pedro (the manager) ready to crack a light hearted joke. The drinks made by Tamara are really great. And the servers are really polite and helpful I totally recommend to try the “croquetes rabo de boi” it’s amazing. Thank you so much for a well spent evening

10/10We reserved at this restaurant through some friends that had been here before and they only had good things to say about this place. I tried the Polvo a Lagareiro and the Bochechas de Vitela, they were both equally as good! Now the classic cocktails and the special 7 sins menu are astonishing, if you like some sweet cocktails you have to go for the Lust! They also have a variety of Portuguese wines. A big thank you for the staff who were very helpful with the recommendations and their attention to detail! I will for sure come back and recommend to my friends and family that visit Lisbon.

10/10We arrived in Lisbon and struck out on food for the first 36 hours. It finally dawned on us to search Trip Advisor and we stumbled across this place. Talk about a true life saver! We ended up eating here twice because of how phenomenal the food and staff were! Both nights Pedro assisted us and gave 100-star customer service! Our first night was Easter Sunday and the place was jam packed. We weren’t able to get a table but we ordered food to go and somehow Pedro still made it a memorable experience. He was attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to do his best to accommodate us. We were able to grab a spot at the bar and had our first PHENOMENAL meal in Portugal. The next night (our last night) we decided it was the safest bet to eat here again and once again the food was out of this world! We are so thankful for the staff, food, and ambiance of this place because it will forever remain a highlight of our first trip to this beautiful country. Thank you for the great food, ambiance, and most importantly, THANK YOU PEDRO!

10/10We reserved for Christmas Eve. It was a wonderful experience. Perfect service, the food was amazing, the timing of everything was perfect, and they treated my family nicely and respectfully. 100% recommended and we’ll definitely go back.

6.5/10a friend highly recommended and we went out of our way to find it. The highlight of the meal was the steak coooked at the table on a h.ot stone. Other meals were very ordinary.

9/10The food was very good, the ambience also very nice. The head manager was a grump, the employees were fighting amongst themselves. Our waiter was very nice but obviously inexperienced, and thus was ridiculed by the more experienced staff. Hopefully this low morale gets resolved, as it doesn’t promote a warm and inviting atmosphere.

2/10The only thing in this place worst than the service was the food. We came on time for our reservation and still had to wait 30min for our table. Once we got seated, the staff was rude and didn’t seem to give a fuck they overbooked their restaurant. The food was just awful. As appetizers, we ordered beef chunks we were told would be medium rare — they were like rubber. The clams had 1/3 empty shells, and over salted. The octopus we ordered as one of main dishes was extremely overcooked and had the texture of rubber. By far the worst meal we had in Portugal all week. There are so many nice, other places around. Stay away from this hell-hole!

8.5/10Overall a wonderful experience. We were late for our reservation( street closed issue), but found the staff telephoning I others who had not appeared and quickly made a table for us. We saw them making similar unnecessary but appreciated efforts for several others. Decorations and ambiance interesting, service outstanding, cocktails excellent, food creative and we’ll done. Not gourmet but very good and good value. Be aware that the electronic check came with a discretionary suggestion for a gratuity-something we were not usually seeing in the EU, but considering the quality of service and pricing of food we were happy to provide a gratuity. We would definitely return next time in Lisbon.

4/10The music was really loud and like “party 80’” not really goes well with the restaurant. I had a bacalau before and this one was tasteless and the plate came cold. The service was good and attentive. Unfortunately i will not go back!

9/10Lively, friendly and full - but not too noisy. Fun music and yummy food. I had the mushroom risotto and my friend had the John Dory, which was really well done. We had a very nice and reasonably priced bottle of vinho verde. Service was a little slow but given the crowd, totally acceptable. We enjoyed it!

10/10Asked the manager/owner what was really their best dish on the menu and he said for an Appetizer I should try the cod cerviche and for my main meal I should bhave the veal cheeks he said it was his favorite we’ll let me just say the cerviche was the best I have ever had and I have had it in 6 different countries and the veal cheeks were to die for. Pedro was very helpful and responsive to all my needs. When I was done he called me a taxi and I was off. When I come back next year you can bet this will be the first restaurant I visit.

5/10Place was noisy. Background music was ‘70s disco. Felt like we were at the roller rink. Overuse of truffle oil covered up the taste of the food in dishes that did not list truffle oil (eg:veal cheeks). The vegetarian risotto was good however.

8.5/10This restaurant was selected based on reviews on theFork. Didn’t realize it was really small, however the ambiance made up for the size. We were a party of 6 and half were pleased with their entrees. All were, however, pleased with the petite gateau dessert. D’orgo was our server and was very attentive and helpful with recommendations. The recommendations he made for me, were very good.

6/10We were a party of 4, 3 of us ordered the steak on a hot stone and we were disappointed with the cut of meat. It was quite chewy even with small bites. The octopus that the fourth person ordered was very good. Hope this helps with your menu selection.

2/10This was the worst experience ever. We came from the USA made reservation 2 weeks ago at 730pm just to have them over book and tell us to come back at 8 and when we did,still did not have a table for us and had to turn us down

Very nice and cosy restaurant! A bit of a hidden gem, with great atmosphere and even better food! :-) Definitely try the sea food there and relax with a glass of wine (or a bottle ;-))

10/10Cozy restaurant up a hill in Barrio Alto. Definitely worth the walk from the usual touristy area. We were warmly greeted and offered a choice of table. We ordered the octopus salad with bread and olives to start. My wife had the bacalhao as her main while I ordered the shrimp Risotto. Both dishes were delicious, well seasoned and perfectly prepared. The Burmester white wine was an excellent pairing. This is a small business and the owner, server, and kitchen staff worked very hard to ensure prompt service. Highly recommended.

4.5/10We ordered. the sirloin steak and the shrimp risotto. The steak was a little tough, and the risotto was undercooked. When we asked for the check, the waiter told us the credit card machine was not working and we needed to pay in cash. After we left, we read some reviews by other people, and many had that same issue with payment in the last few months. Very weird that a restaurant has issues this often with credit card payments. Tax evasion maybe?
