The ambience, the service and the food. All excellent.

Lovely restaurant, calm, nice atmosphere in the heart of Madrid.. We were attended by maitre Jaime, a true host of the restaurant explaining us in english the menu and giving us suggestions. . We felt immediately comfortable and welcome. The steak tartar is to die for as the jamon as a starter. lovely winelist as well.

We were there with our family. Everything was excellent including food, service and ambience. Highlight dishes were signature potatoes, croquettes with black garlic aioli and creamed rice

Exquisite tradicional Spanish food balanced with a modern presentation. Romantic ambient and excellent wine list with a classy champagne selection. The torrija dessert is mouthwatering! All paired with kind and attentive staff, a place to come back.

Really nice food but portions are not huge and prices are quite high. Great bread and amazing olive oil.

Although the restaurant itself was nice and the staff were good, the food was disappointing and overpriced. I ordered the belly pork, and I was expecting a sripnof pork, with perhaps some vegetables or salad. What I received was some bits of very salty, dried up pork rind, clearly not freshly cooked (what in the UK we would call Pork Scratcings and would be a snack in a packet). Add to this, the cacophony of some sort of musical cover versions of what Americans call 'elevator music' with a backdrop of some sort of jazz extemporisation assaulting our ears, resulted in a very unsatisfactory evening, and the worst food we have had all week.

This is a little gem that I found online and did not disappoint. We went for a late afternoon lunch due to a 6:00pm opera, and they were very accommodating. The food and service was outstanding!

Beautiful restaurant with outstanding service. The food is delicious and everyone was impressed with their plate. We had a lovely time and will definitely be returning.

My friends and I were highly impressed with the service and the quality of the food. Everything was perfect. The plates came at good pace. The ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend it and be back again.

A really nice hip hotel-restaurant hidden from the busy streets in a classic neighborhood in Madrid. Superb food and service makes us wonder when to return soon.
