The food was delicious and the service was charming. I have earthen here several times since 2022, and the experience is always excellent.

We had such a wonderful meal here on a rainy night in early December. It was a last minute stop in Pompeii and finding this gem was a real treat in amongst all the heavily tourist offings.

A great local restaurant that wasn’t about its M* but about looking after its cliental and giving good local food and wine at affordable prices with a special twist that makes it special. Recommend to foodies!

The service was great. Have to say the food was a little disappointing. Bread wasn't even good which is unusual for this country. Steak was chewy and everything was somewhat underwhelming.

It was below average, especially for a restaurant with Michelin accreditation. We started with oysters, and those were badly shucked so we had to pick shell bits out. The fried calamari was too salty. The pasta with prawns was bland. The seafood pasta was alright, but again nothing to write home about. Would not go.

Unfortunately very nad quality of food and food poisoning as a result. Lobster was not fresh. I guess they were better when they started but now all is a disaster. Avoid the place.

Staff were great, really lovely, knowledgeable and friendly. My partners meal was an absolute delight. Truly delicious. She had the Caprese salad to start, seasoned to perfection and tasted really fresh. She had the tuna steak for main which again was a taste sensation. Mine however was not. My squid starter was delicious, save the squid itself, which was overdone and had become tough. My main was the seafood risotto and it was extremely bland, with the seafood elements being overdone again. Setting was great, staff were great, half of our meal was great. Just the other half not so much.

At first, te staff did not know about our reservation. Therefore, as the restaurant was fully booked, we only had a table outside in the hot weather. The service was not very attentive, but very slow. Sparking water was flat still, the food was of mediocre or lower quality. The steak was chewy, the crab was served with its shell, and was nearly impossible to get to eat it even for experienced crab eaters. Sorry to say, but I do not recommend this place, does not live up at all to its bib gourmand status.
Casa GalloGood morning, thanks for the review. Reservation on the fork made 30 minutes before arriving at the restaurant and full restaurant. Unfortunately the room staff did not have time to see your reservation. In any case you were greeted by our waitress Marina with the smile that distinguishes her, the Crab as in the photo on all social networks is served with the shell ... we have NEVER had any complaints about it. Sorry we didn't meet your needs .The meat appreciated by all is a meat of the highest quality ... I don't understand what is meant by rubbery. Have a nice day with smile . Best regards

This was a convenient Michelin 2023 Bib Gourmand restaurant near the town square. The French lady waiter was excellent and recommended good wine and was warm and welcoming. The male waiter who broke a plate was quite unfriendly. The food was average for a Michelin BG. The degustation was just some plates selected from the small menu.

This is a great place to visit, excellent food and great wine varieties. The service is good. Definitely the place to come back. Very nice atmosphere.

Lovely food & fantastic service. We were taking my elderly mum out & we’re very late. The staff at the restaurant were wonderful; patient & helpful. Plus the food was delicious! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Excellent experience with wonderfully attentive service. The chef owner came out to share best way to prepare the whole dish. It was one of the best we’ve ever had. As a bonus, we had the limoncello he makes and it was fantastic. I don’t like limoncello because it’s too syrupy for me but this was a perfect combination of lemon and alcohol with something custom. Highly recommend Cada Gallo.

Two of the dishes were great, very decently priced for what they were and tasted pretty good. The baked fish however, at €60, that was microwaved and tasted pretty dry and average for a salt crust and came as a tiny portion with no sides, ruined the meal. We had no idea it would cost that much until the bill came as it wasn’t priced on the menu and we never would have ordered such an overpriced dish if we’d have known. Anything from the menu is good, anything they recommend and don’t tell you the price, don’t get it as it’ll be ridiculously overpriced. The waitress was wonderful and really trying her best, but she was completely rushed off her feet being the only server, we were going to order an after dinner aperitivo but it took 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared and only after we’d got our bill we’re we asked about desert. Couldn’t fault her effort but it’s impossible to provide good service with some many tables to serve as a single server. Overall the fish let the meal down and the experience was extremely average. Would only go back if it was quiet and wouldn’t order any of the specials.

Great restaurant with good food and atmosphere. We were really well served by the friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food and good ambience.

Really recommend a visit here - nice atmosphere with inside tables having a view into the preparations in the kitchen. Some real highlights with the food - excellent side dish of courgettes and some juicy fresh tasting seafood. Lovely breads as an accompaniment and an enjoyable bottle of house red.

Very passive service despite a small number of clients. Don’t understand why the restaurant is so well rated on TripAdvisor! Food is ok, the choice is limited and not very sophisticated!
