8.5/10Food was exceptional. The Caesar’s salad with pork tonkatsu and anchovies Wes delicious. The fried pork belly and potatoes was also great. I had the Arroz a Banda which was so good with squid and shrimp in a tomato based sauce. We also had the salmon which was Ok but not great. Overall a good restaurant to visit and fully recommend.

7.5/10The food was generally good. But 2 portions of the lobster and monkfish rice were ordered for the two of us despite we said "one". (NOT "one each"). We ended up having too much food on our table (with the other dishes we ordered)! It was a waste, not to mention we had to pay for the excess! Otherwise, it would have been a good experience.

7/10Lovely ambience and food was great. However we were discussing the red wines and the waiter said oh I have a good one. He brought it to the table but I couldn’t see it on the wine list. The wine was good but when the bill came the charge was €56 for the bottle. Spoilt an otherwise nice evening in a nice restaurant.

Lobster/monkfish Paella was exceptional???????? same for calamari. This is to prove that it shouldn’t be a place with a 100 year history in Madrid downtown to be a really good restaurant.

5/10The rating sounded good, but the food was mediocre. The Cesar salad consisted of green salad leaves and dry, breaded chicken strips and was drizzled with a petty mayonnaise. The prawns were so fried that it was difficult to remove them from the shell, the intestines were not removed and they were not cut open. The ribs were very plain and doused with an unpleasantly sweet sauce. One piece of the ribs was inedibly hard.

10/10An excellent restaurant recommended to me by a former Madrileno. Food outstanding and the wine very good and we were at the cheaper end of the menu. We were a big group of (well behaved) British & Irish lads and they took care of us with their fantastic and authentic Spanish hospitality.
