Upon arrival, the esthetic of the restaurant is beautiful. The woodwork, lighting, and to our surprise, a little bridge to other tables. We opted for the tasting menu and wine pairing and was blown away by the presentation on first site, then the burst of flavors. The chef did fabulous on creating the menu, the service was impeccable and the sommelier informative on the selections. Abrigada Casa Tradição!

We did a last minute mid day wine tasting and it ended up just being my husband and I. WORTH EVERY PENNY. Snacks were great size and delicious. info about the wine was awesome. We would have went back the next night for dinner if we weren’t leaving the city

Absolutely loved this place! Excellent food and service in a charming setting. Highly recommended. It is a bit hard to find though. Our Uber driver dropped us off a few streets away and we had to navigate on our own which proved to be a bit challenging. Obviously not the restaurant’s fault but be forewarned that getting there is not super straightforward.

Dinner on 6/6/24. We sat in the back close to the kitchen where we could see the chef putting the finishing touches on dishes. Servers were very nice and attentive. They did a great job explaining the dishes and how family history and modern twist were influences for them. We had the apples to start. Wonderful! Followed by the cornbread cabbage and prawns. We shared the pig dish as our entree. Everything was carefully prepared and tasted fabulous. Very pleased with our experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Casa Tradição. We did the 9 moment tasting menu (without wine pairing) and every dish was great. It’s a bit off the beaten track, but well worth the effort to find. Make a reservation in advance! People were being turned away at the door.

Food was excellent and quite interesting - a modern twist on traditional dishes. Everything was extremely tasty and the service was excellent and attentive. This was one of the more pleasant and defintley unique dining experiences in Portugal.
