10/10Excellent service, from a knowledgeable and friendly team. The secluded, romantic setting was memorable. The food was excellent - so good we went back twice in the few days we spent in Ortigia.

10/10The vegetable antipasti was a flavor bomb in my mouth. We had a really good food expérience here. Their homemade wine was delicious - bought 2 bottles to take home. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want fresh vegetables and creative cooking .

9.5/10The food is amazing here. I had simple dishes like caponata but the flavours were stunning. All vegetables come from their farm and are incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked, their pasta made every morning - delicious! Best cannoli I’ve eaten. Enjoyed the ambience of dining in a beautiful narrow lane way - very ortigia.

Warm friendly welcome. Varied menu at good prices. The food perfectly prepared and presented, and delicious! Superb cod dish, and refined deserts. It's not a big place, so book in advance. Our waiter was a delight.

8.5/10It was a restaurant that many friends have recommended, but overall it lacked the extra 10% of a truly delicious meal. Italian cuisine is very much about the quality of the products themselves and as I ordered (maybe wrongly) a tagliata di manzo I was disappointed when derved a very tough and chewy piece of meat. My partners pistachio pasta was a bit bland as well. Overall a good restaurant but far from the best experience on the island of Ortigia.

2/10I sat ignored for 30 minutes. No menu, water or acknowledgment. Tables on either side of me were served. So I left. Do better.

Dear customer, our fresh pasta portions weigh between 100g and 130g, 90% of our customers consider them very abundant. In reference to the bill, an extra spritz was written by mistake and we rightly returned the money to you. We apologize for the error... To err is human!

10/10Everything was amazing - the food, the service, and the people. We loved being here and eating one of the best pasta dishes (ragu di cinghiale). So, 100 percent thumbs up for people who love severe but casual Sicilian cuisine.

9.5/10Lovely restaurant on a quiet side street. Friendly service and not intrusive. They use home grown ingredients and pasta made fresh each day in house. Also have their own produced house wines. The reds were both very drinkable. We had the aubergine parmigiana which was served just warm. The meatballs were incredibly light and tasty as was the pasta dish with pork. Thiroughly enjoyed our meal

10/10Amazingly fresh produce, wonderful staff. All of the food was carefully prepared and presented. The Insalata mista was perhaps the best we have ever eaten because all of the vegetables were perfect, with a good quantity of ripe, sweet cherry tomatoes. Highly recommend for an outstanding dinner.

10/10Upon entering the house we felt welcomed as if we were visiting someone’s home. They told us immediately how everything used was fresh from their farms or local producers. Every course was so good, especially the caponata! Particularly amazing was the Primo Norma with fresh vegetables - fennel and asparagus pesto was scrumptious! The staff were delightful and very accommodating. A wonderful find tucked away!

10/10What a discovery! The restaurant is farm-to-table from the owners' farm so the vegetables were fresh, the olive oil amazing. The homemade pasta was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the pasta with pumpkin and sausage and the spaghetti with meatballs (three HUGE meatballs!). Too bad we were too full for dessert as they looked wonderful! Make this your choice of places to try in Syracuse!

10/10This place is wonderful. It is tucked up a side street, not far from the main street but far enough to ensure a really cosy and intimate atmosphere. The food is locally sourced and authentic, but also beautifully presented. The menu has a good selection. The service is always attentive and welcoming (and I've been many times).

10/10Lovely atmosphere in the quiet back street. The food was equally good. I've generally had fish whilst in Siracusa but chose the steak on this occasion and I'd didn't disappoint. They hadn't asked how I wanted it cooked but it was a perfectly tender medium rare. All of the food was tasty and the service was friendly and attentive

10/10Located in the heart of Ortigia. Great traditional food at reasonable prices. I had caponata and pasta alla norma. Both were fresh and yummy. Gracious service and the most welcoming environment. I had booked a table at 21:00 but could only make it to the restaurant at 22:30 due to a diverted flight. Staff was understanding and served me extremely well nonetheless. As an Italian foodie, I highly recommend it.
