5/10This was the second time we had been to Casanova and the experience could not have been more different. Firstly they did not have our booking and so We were asked whether we would like to eat outside inside or on the roof we opted for the roof without being told there was an 8euro surcharge per couple up there. The service was really poor and the food and venue did not live up to our previous experience. We will not go back

9.5/10Two friends recommended Casanova to us, so my husband & I tried it last night. We chose rooftop dining (with a view of the Santa Barbara Castillo which was incredible, especially as the evening went on)... We started with dry martinis which were expertly prepared, with just a hint of sweet (vermouth). We ordered the Caprese Salad to start. The salad was very fresh with lots of creamy buratta, beautiful sweet peaches & incredible tomatoes! We shared this & that was perfect. My husband ordered the Jamon y Champignones pizza which had a wonderful blistered crust & lots of Jamon & mushrooms. I ordered the Carbonara con guanciale y queso de oveja Romano which was served al dente & incredibly delicious. We didn't have room for dessert (although they looked wonderful), but enjoyed another glass of Verdejo while taking in the views & the handsome Spanish guitarist who serenaded us for several hours. Our experience was so positive, that we booked a table for 4 next Friday evening when friends from California will be visiting us. Great job Casanova! You have new "regular" customers!

4/10Food was quite good, except the beef, which was not! They also tried to charge us too much. We had to pay reservation charge, which was 10€ per person and they told us, that it would be taken off the final billl, but didn’t happen after all.

6/10Great atmosphere & service. The beef fillet was uneatable and was clearly not fillet, the peppercorn sauce was simply cream with peppercorns added. However the salmon pasta was excellent. No response during the dinner from the restaurant about the bad fillet experience. Best advice is don’t order the beef fillet.
