The food wasn’t bad, but the fries were disappointing. The interior of the restaurant is very nice, but the smell of food is quite strong, and you end up leaving with your clothes smelling like fried food.

I ordered mussels, best I ever had. so much of it and the garlic stew was perfect, came with fries. could not finished. my boyfriend had mashed potatoes with sausages and sauce, also very tasty. If you want local Belgian food this is your spot.

Very atmospheric restaurant set inside a cave in Brussels' Grand-Place. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very good food and plentiful dishes. Average prices. The only flaw is the cooking smell that sometimes wafts into the room when they cook; we noticed it in particular when they cooked a meat grill. Overall recommended

Food, service and value were amazing. The wait staff took pictures for us without us asking and continually made jokes with us and our kids. The filet was amazing, especially for the price. We would absolutely return to this restaurant!

We came during Christmas Market hoping to find a special place to celebrate my husbands birthday. We originally scheduled for dinner but instead found ourselves here for lunch. Atmosphere was great. Service was super attentive and fun. But the best part was that the food was exceptional. Well done Cave du Roy!

They were out of two types of bottles of wine we ordered, so chose not to have wine, yet they charged on the first bill for it. The food was warm, not hot and the duck dish was tough. Although the rack of lamb I had was delicious, it could have been warmer.

They tried to tell me that my promotion does not work, even if I had the confirmation in the app. The manager was then upset that I had the reduction and I saw him being rude with the waiter because of this. Moreover, there is no ventilation and my cloths were smelling of food for two days. Overall, the mussels were half closed or empty.

Beautiful and unique setting in a cave like restaurant on Grande Place. Be prepared for the heat in the restaurant however. Service was wonderful as was the traditional chicken stew. Didn’t care for the meatballs in tomato sauce. Would recommend this restaurant!
