10/10Very very friendly staff!! We were 11 guests and two had gluten intoleranse! They took it very seriously! So we were impressed! Lovely food!! Not too pricey either!

10/10Located right on Grand Place, and great food! I didn't expect it since it was in the middle of a tourist hotspot, but surprisingly good quality food. It's not a big place, but with great ambiance. Abdul who served our table was very agreeable and made our dining experience pleasant.

7/10We made a reservation via The Fork due to great ratings and a 50% bill on food items. Service: we came in at 1725 5 minutes before our reservation. We are like the 3rd diners at the restaurant. We did order within 15 minutes of our arrival there was only 2 crew member in the restaurant. Food: Ordered a calamari friti w/ tartar sauce. Tasted more like an onion rings with a little green salad. Chicken was a little dry being with a sauce. Grilled steak was a little tough and barely has any flavors. Drinks: 2 bottle waters and Aperol Spritz no fizz or taste of Prosecco. They might have use still water only with the aperol mix. Our food did not arrive for about an hour. We almost wanted to leave 😞. The table next to us got their food right after they served our food. The food has France and German influence. Honestly not a big fan of taste on as it tasted bland. (Sorry) we may not be used to the traditional food here in Belgium. Staffs: Friendly and need a little hustle with service. Overall this is an Ok restaurant. Situated in the very central Brussels station.

10/10Food much better than expected in this restaurant in the middle of the touristic heart of Brussels. Very friendly waiters and they know how to present food and pour beer Belgian style. Only minus was terrible overpriced coffee- 4.50

8.5/10Amazing location just “under” the Grand Place, you literally eat in a below ground level cave and the atmosphere is special and romantic. We went at dinner, the restaurant was full but the staff had our table reserved and ready. They were very nice to us and applied TheFork discount at the end. We ate local dishes: very good taste and food quality, portions were also generous. Would recommend

10/10The service at Cave du Roy was phenomenal, lovely and attentive waiters and the food was gorgeous. Definitely a must go to when in Brussels. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also so lovely. Could not recommend highly enough!

10/10Wonderful location: a tiny cave in the amazing Grand Place of Brussels, nice music that makes the atmosphere. Very gentle staff. We we're 4 people and ate a soup and a starter. We really appreciated the soups! The cost was adequate according to the location and the position right at the Grand Place.

10/10Great location facing Grand Place. Amazing restaurant in a renovated wine cellar, cozy and warm. Food and wines was absolutely good but the real top player there is the guy who serve wines. Definitely in the top 3 services I've ever seen, even better than some Michelin restaurants.

7/10Overall not bad. The restaurant was very hot and crowded. The appetizers were great but the main course was just ok. We asked for med rare steak and received well done. I would say worth the eat but not a 5 star establishment.

10/10It's a very pleasant restaurant. It was kind and the service, food, and atmosphere were the best. The dish is low in salt and enhances the taste of each ingredient and adjusts the salt and pepper according to your preference. The salt provided was also very delicious. The service was also perfect.

10/10We booked last minute and were very lucky to get a table for eight but also so glad to find this great restaurant. However, I wouldn’t leave it to luck if you are wanting to get a table here and it is easily booked. Situated on the corner of Grand Place it is perfectly located and as you descend the cellar steps, mind your head, and take your seat you won’t be disappointed. The menu was full of really good local fare which was plentiful and there was quite a lot of food envy as the courses came out. There were families, couples and our business group and it worked well, with great ambience it would be somewhere I wouldn’t hesitate in booking again. A small but good wine list sits alongside an array of local beers and soft drinks and certainly not pricey either it’s a great Brussels find.

10/10@0 years ago I dined at Cave Du Roy and it was the meal highlight of my trip, so naturally when I was finally able to return to Brussels, it was the first place I planned a meal at. I was not disappointed. The outdoor seating was perfect, with a view of the square and all the lights! The indoor is lovely as well for colder days or if you want to be out of the sun. I had the oyster soup and the rabbit and my partner had the fish stew and the stoemp. We were both very pleased. Waitstaff was attentive and charming and we look forward to dining there again soon.

9.5/10A good surprise… Being a local, I usually don’t really trust restaurants in the city center.. This one was a nice discovery where I will surly visit again. The fish Waterzooi and Crème brûlée were just tasty and savory! Really happy! The waiter was also really nice.

9.5/10It is located in the Grand Place, but the cost performance was good and I was very satisfied. The staff was kind and available in English. All the recommended dishes are delicious, especially mussels, which have changed the taste and been replaced. When I finished eating and came out, the Grand Place at dusk was very beautiful and it was a fun dinner.
