2/10Worst food we have eaten in a restaurant for as long as I can remember. Service totally disorganised. My wife's main course came at least 10 minutes before mine arrived. They should concentrate on the food and service rather than rely on the location. I think I'm qualified to make these comments as I'm a professional chef with over 40 years experience.

6.5/10The food wasn’t bad, but the fries were disappointing. The interior of the restaurant is very nice, but the smell of food is quite strong, and you end up leaving with your clothes smelling like fried food.

10/10I ordered mussels, best I ever had. so much of it and the garlic stew was perfect, came with fries. could not finished. my boyfriend had mashed potatoes with sausages and sauce, also very tasty. If you want local Belgian food this is your spot.

Very atmospheric restaurant set inside a cave in Brussels' Grand-Place. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very good food and plentiful dishes. Average prices. The only flaw is the cooking smell that sometimes wafts into the room when they cook; we noticed it in particular when they cooked a meat grill. Overall recommended

Great location, lovely venue, friendly staff and fantastic quality/price dinner. Definitely nothing like the usual rubbish tourist traps around the Grand Place. Highly recommended and my go to venue when in the area.

9.5/10Food, service and value were amazing. The wait staff took pictures for us without us asking and continually made jokes with us and our kids. The filet was amazing, especially for the price. We would absolutely return to this restaurant!

10/10We came during Christmas Market hoping to find a special place to celebrate my husbands birthday. We originally scheduled for dinner but instead found ourselves here for lunch. Atmosphere was great. Service was super attentive and fun. But the best part was that the food was exceptional. Well done Cave du Roy!

6/10They were out of two types of bottles of wine we ordered, so chose not to have wine, yet they charged on the first bill for it. The food was warm, not hot and the duck dish was tough. Although the rack of lamb I had was delicious, it could have been warmer.
