My little accidental but amazing restaurant find, the shrimp cooked in infused oil-garlic, divine, a must try. Will be returning soon to try more.

Excellent food and service despite restaurant being full with several large tables. Also, the noise level very reasonable considering large groups of people.

Very disappointing experience. We spent 5 nights in Lisbon and enjoyed every restaurant we went to except this one. Food was overpriced and mediocre and the service was the worst we had. After turning down dessert, it took forever to get the check. Cover charge and added tip higher than better restaurants. In all the other restaurants I added tip, when I didn’t at this one I got a scowl from the waiter despite the poor service.

When I'm in Lisbon, I'm sure to go to Cervejaria Sem Vergonha! I can always expect the best quality and the friendliest service! The anbience is also quite pleasant! I especially recommend the grilled fish (personally, I love sea bass or sea bream) - it is always very fresh, and cooked to perfection!

Excellent restaurant, with friendly and helpful staff. The food was very good. The only thing to point out is that we ordered the chicken and chips and it was spicy spicy. I think they should have told us when they saw we were getting it for the baby. The cold environment, I had to eat with my jacket on.

Food was tasty and fancy displayed. Curry lobster rice was a bit disappointing but the new pica pau of tuna and clams was just superb

Excellent food and service. Super price / quality ratio. The restaurant is off the beaten track. A bit hidden even. You’d never enter because of its looks. But when you enter you see an open restaurant with ample space, fine decorations and excellent waiters. The chef and the waiters know their stuff. I got superb food and good wine tips. Important because I’m a bit lost regarding Portuguese wines. Worth the trip. And not a touristy place at all. If that is important to you.

The staff was very attentive and the salt cooked sea bass was phenomenal! Also dining several tables away was the Portuguese President with his party.

Restaurant was a local recommendation and we really enjoyed! Delicious food and excellent service. The steak with portobello mushrooms and the shrimp curry were our favorites!

We had octopus and steak/mushroom sauce. Both dishes were amazing. Started off with the octopus with potatoes, tomatoes, and onion which were all perfectly seasoned. Then shared the steak with mushroom sauce. The meat tasted so meaty but was also tender. After finishing the meat we poured our fries into the plate to soak up that heavenly mushroom sauce. Enjoyed all this with white wine sangria. Staff checked on us just the right amount and were really nice.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience at this restaurant. We ordered the crab pâté which was satisfactory however our main courses; grilled cod and the octopus were awful. Both were served with a large qty of tasteless boiled rapini-type of vegetable and some boiled potatoes. The cod and octopus were devoid of any seasonings or spices and tasted bland. The staff were attentive however and the terrace had nice views. Having already spent a week in Lisbon and tasting amazing dishes in much less expensive restaurants, we expected a great deal more.

The restaurant styling was very nice, view is beautiful. Disappointed in our food - the steak sandwich should be on the appetizer menu as it was so small. The shrimp “bread soup” was very strange.

We were treated so well by the team after making a reservation at Sem based on a recommendation from our Airbnb host. Beautiful fresh fish, prawns, salad and a wonderful bottle of wine recommended by our waiter. A fantastic view over Lisbon and a really friendly atmosphere. A great change from the more touristy areas. Easy to get to by Uber or even the 28 tram and walk through the Jardin!

The restaurant is very nice but they didn’t have any Sardines which I’d specifically gone therefore. The food I got was a little cold, but was tasty. I would give them another chance. The staff are great.
