6/10Food quality good but let down by portion sizes and expensive prices. Also so many employees and never any around when needed in a mostly empty restaurant. Could and should have been much better as a whole for the price paid.

7.5/10Second visit of holiday. Food was still excellent but staff were rushed off feet so service was very slow (pretty non-existent). We left before desert and coffee as wait was too long. Will definitely return as maybe caught it on a bad night and previous visits have been great.

4.5/10This used to be the best in Olhão for food and attentive service. Sadly it feels like things have declined (or maybe because the very sympathetic owner had a night off). Although the season just started, the staff already seemed tired. I had to wait over 5 minutes just to be seated. Our guests wanted to share a main du to large portions, but the waiter pressured them into ordering separately, then said "Oh yes I'm on fire, I am such a great salesperson". It felt inappropriate and led to wasted food and money. The € 35 charge for 150 gram seabream was also excessive and forgetting my main course which I had to wait more than 10 minutes because same waiter screwed up my order was a big fail. The french fries were still raw (which is not safe either). Many of their best dishes that made this place special, like goat cheese the cod with a crust, etc., are no longer on the menu. Overall a disappointing experience from one of the most expensive restaurants in Olhão that once stood out.

9.5/10Prior to visit, staff contacted us to see whether we preferred to sit outside or inside, which was great. A very warm welcome from all staff who proved to be knowledgeable and helpful about the menu. No rush, noticed that we hadn’t totally finished our mains so left us space before offering dessert.

10/10The staff were so nice and treated us really well. It was my mum’s birthday and the staff made her feel very special and gave her a free cocktail. The decor inside is lovely and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The food was excellent. Prawn linguine was amazing.

10/10This was a revisit after a lovely visit last year. We booked on line as it can get very busy which it was. We had requested accessible seating and were welcomed and given a Choice of seats. The staff are amazing so friendly, chatty and informative. Happy to advise and make suggestions on food. Our food was delicious, so fresh and tasty. Whenever we visit this region we will always make time to eat at Cestaria. We would highly recommend

8/10The restaurant, well located in the centre of the seaside area, is attractive and comfortable. The service is great. We enjoyed the octopus salad but neither my husband nor I cared for our main dishes: roast pork in red wine sauce and a shrimp tagliatelle. I’m sure there were better choices on the menu.

10/10Visited with friends on the last night of our holiday, so a bit of pressure on me, but did not disappoint. We had a lovely window table, water offered as we sat down, and service at all stages was excellent. A nice level of knowledgable advice and chat from all staff who served us. I chose tagliatelle dish which I had had before, one friend chose the same the other had fillet steak. All were delicious, washed down with a glass each of house wine, which we were informed was from Tavira, even the location of the vineyard! Then two of us shared a very chocolatey dessert. The bill was pleasingly modest for the quality of the food and service. Highly recommended for a slightly special occasion.

10/10Welcoming and attentive staff. Sirloin steak was absolutely top quality, cooked exactly as requested. Filet Mignon slightly less flavour, but still good. Cafe creme brulee was gorgeous. Highly recommend Cestaria in Olhao.

The service is top notch 👌🏼 and it's clean. we visit this restaurant whenever we are in Portugal. spent many birthday lunches and dinners with friends and family's. today i took my mom for her birthday and she really enjoyed it. I hope they do some changes in the menu since it's been the same since they opened. thank you for good service and great food. we see you soon 🥰

5.5/10The restaurant decor lovely. Unfortunately the kitchen couldn’t cope with the covers. Left waiting for food for a long time. Although a member of staff came and spoke to us there was no offers of money off, drink, or anything other than it’s coming soon! Highlight prawn starter. Brûlée was like a coffee cream not a custard. We will try somewhere different in Olhao for a better experience.

10/10Everything about our first experience at this restaurant was great, the staff were all very attentive but not in an in your face way, nothing was too much and all my random questions answered with ease. The decor and ambience was really lovely and the biggest enjoyment was the really tasty food we had. Will definitely book again on our next holiday in Olhao
