+1I honestly don’t think I’ll ever forget my experience at Céu. This was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had. I visited on my birthday, dining solo, and the team went above and beyond to make it feel incredibly special. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed so warmly—it never once felt like I was on my own. Instead, it felt personal, thoughtful, and genuinely celebratory. The food was absolutely exceptional. The South American–Asian fusion is executed flawlessly—every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly crafted with real care and creativity. You can tell a lot of passion goes into what they do. What truly set the experience apart, though, was the service. The staff pulled out all the stops to make my birthday memorable in the most sincere and understated way. It wasn’t over the top—it was just perfect, attentive, and heartfelt. If you’re in Faro, this place is an absolute must-visit.

Finally! A fusion that makes sense! We loved visiting Céu, a small restaurant (not a tourist trap) in Faro. Everything was fab - from the food to the service.

+2The chef and staff were all very friendly and helpful.The food was absolutely amazing and the fact that it was all gluten free for me was a big bonus as sometimes when travelling it’s difficult to find somewhere safe to eat when you have Celiac disease. I would definitely recommend this incredible restaurant to anyone!

Sky and his team at Ceu, have created something really special. We had such a delicious dinner, fresh with interesting flavours, we couldn’t fault it. The service was fabulous too and all of the staff were lovely, knowledgeable and passionate. The icing on the cake was when they gave our dog some beef capriccio! There are few dog friendly restaurants in Portugal and I would definitely highly recommend this one. Go, it’s wonderful.

Lovely friendly welcome. Good unhurried ambience. The food was excellent - very unusual and beautifully presented. The staff were very knowledgeable and explained what was in the ingredients and how it was prepared. We would highly recommend a visit.

A fantastic spot with surprising, bold flavors, a lovely sfeer, and genuinely great service. We need to come back to try all the beautifull well made dishes :-) Don't miss it!

This place had some great reviews so I booked it for our last night in Faro. It was by far the best restaurant we visited during our stay, the food was excellent, small dishes/tapas style but next level, more like a tasting menu really. We picked 4 dishes + an arepa each, with rice and green veg, everything was cooked really well, lots of flavour, different textures, top notch. The service was excellent too, friendly, but with knowledge of the dishes and ingredients, I really can’t recommend this place enough.

We truly believe that Ceu is the best restaurant in Faro! Chef Sky and his team have developed a unique fusion of flavor with perfect execution. The staff are welcoming and professional. The menu is unique in that each item is gluten free. Our friends delight in the fact that they can eat everything on the menu. Care is always given to those who have dietary needs.

Super impressed by this restaurant. From the initial welcome and the history of this wonderful restaurant, there is a palpable sense of passion for the food. The explanation of the food fusion and being able to see the chef’s cook your dishes is special and personal. Highly recommend this delightful place, with the most delicious Arepas we’ve ever eaten.

First of all I made a reservation for 8:45pm thinking that I did 6:45! Wrong! But they were very accommodating seating us anyway. The service was prompt, friendly and extremely attentive. The food was over the top! We started with arepas with a Curacaoan twist. Never had better! The beef medallion with incredibly creamy potatoes seasoned with a very tasty southeast asian spiced sauce was outstanding. The tuna tataki and the cassaba & cheese croquettes with amazing homemade guasacaca were wonderful as well. Chef Sky and his vivacious partner have a rare gem developing. Wish I lived nearby so I could partake often.

The food at ceu is absolutely delicious. Best meal of our holiday! Try the dessert selection. the green crème brûlée looks strange but tastes wonderful. we cleaned the plate... 5 desserts plus ice cream. my tummy hurts, but I'm so happy 😊

Came here for my wife’s birthday and was looking forward to a nice meal but what we got was honestly excellent and up there with one of our best meals we have eaten across the world! From the welcome, to the moment we left Jen and Pedro made us feel like we were valued customers, attentive, polite, pleasant and knowledgable, answering any questions we had. Having the head chef and owner Sky come to ask us how things were and asking for feedback was also excellent and not often seen these days. The Arepas were flavoursome and croquets tasty and presented very well. My favourite was the Bali Prawns as even though I asked for hot (and they were!) you could still taste the other ingredient’s. Beef rendang and chicken satay was also very good - especially the peanut sauce! We travel a lot and don’t typically review however such was the experience it would be remiss of me not to thank the Ceu Team for our most wonderful night! Thank-you and best of luck in the future!

An unforgettable dining experience! Cèu in Faro is, without a doubt, the best restaurant in the city. The dishes were absolutely delicious and beautifully crafted – each one an explosion of flavors, with the octopus standing out as an absolute masterpiece. Chef Sky and floor manager Jef were incredibly welcoming and kind, making us feel truly at home from the moment we arrived. The open kitchen is an amazing experience in itself, allowing you to watch the passion and artistry behind every plate. This is not just a meal – it’s a journey of taste and hospitality. Highly recommended!
