Excellent service, as we’ve come to expect from each restaurant we visit in Paris. The menu was copious and actually too much food for us to finish in one sitting.

9/10A group of 8 of us went to Chez Francoise. It was our first time in Rue Amelie but we had eaten many times at the Invalides restaurant. The new venue is classy and the food and service were excellent. The set menu including wine was excellent value.

10/10I live in the neighborhood and am so happy to be able to enjoy Chez Françoise frequently. The always changing menu, the consistently excellent service and the comfortable, but elegant ambience never disappoints us or our guests.

10/10This is a lovely, sophisticated restaurant. The menu has an excellent variety of dishes. A special starter of mushrooms was delicious. The raviolis/crustacean were wonderful. And roasted figs for dessert- the perfect finale to a great meal. Service is professional and friendly. Our only issue was the ‘pour’ for a glass of wine (14euros) was extremely small, smaller than we’d ever been served anywhere.

9/10we can't speak in French and not fluent in English, but the stuff are very polite and helpful. The portion was a little too much so I had to leave some, but it was delicious.

10/10We booked this restaurant for the location but we found it fantastic! Very classic french menu with all one’s favorites. Delicately prepared and with pride. The modern interior was a nice surprise and seasonal delicacies like Girolles and artichoke were wonderful. Highly recommend.

10/10My husband and I visited Chez Françoise for the first time at their new location, 10 rue Amélie. We were warmly welcomed and all of the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and artfully presented and the prices very reasonable. We will definitely return.

5/10Highly overpriced. The service and the waiting staff are very rude and unhelpful. They overcharged on the bill and then fought - ultimately the manager had to intervene to solve it. Do not recommend - there are much better restaurants in paris

6/10Waiters are rude if you're a tourist. We ordered the €30 set with entree and starter, and they didn't bother mentioning the things we picked aren't part of the set until the bill came. They charged us the full amount for the items, and when we told them we weren't aware our items weren't part of the set, the waiter disappeared for 40 minutes. He then came back and said it's "so obvious" that those items are not part of the set. We paid full price for everything. If ordering any set, make sure you ask what's included in the set.

4/10We had booked this restaurant as a dear elderly family friend we had not seen for some time recommended it to us. She has arrived early and was seated at a very poor table, not in the main room, but at the edge in a rather shabby area of the restaurant. I suspect that had we arrived even earlier we might have been able to have changed our table, especially as we had booked it over 2 months earlier. I suspect that staff had thought and older lady did not deserve special attention. On our arrival the Maitre D seemed unable to find our reservation, despite having confirmed it on line as requested. Once finally seated, we had to wait over 15 minutes before being offered an aperitif. The food we ordered was totally underwhelming. My chicken was very uninspiring, with burnt cabbage as decoration. Our guest’s pot au feu had vegetables that were barely cooked. My husband’s fish was barely warm and his first purse of deep fried calamari tasteless and very greasy. My dessert of soups a la mandarin was a peeled mandarin, pith and skin still intact sitting on some mandarin juice with a hint of some alcohol, a tuile and scoop of mandarin sorbet. Poor presentation and lack to imagination that did not match it’s price tag. Over all a very disappointing and very expensive experience. I understand that this establishment will be closing in June for good - it’s glory days have clearly passed. I would not recommend spending money on a meal here.

9.5/10The food and the environment were really great. My wife and I had a nice dinner to celebrate our marriage anniversary there. I just think the waitress could be a little more patient and explain better our options or even giving some suggestions.

10/10We always come to Chez Francoise when in Paris and have brought many friends from central Illinois. They are always first rate, from greeting you at the door to seating you in the great dining room. Quality linens and cutlery. We always take the "menu" which is now 55 euros. There are choices for everyone and for 2 people a bottle of wine, water and coffee is included. On Sundays you can have unlimited oysters as an appetizer in the "menu." We took full advantage of that tonight. Bottom line it is a fun, lively and upscale place and Laurent, the Maitre de Maison, is a lot of fun and makes sure everyone has a good experience. We've been coming here for over 30 years.

8/10We got there late without being able to contact them and they still got a table in the veranda. Seafood choucroute wasn’t quite up to their usual high quality. Choice of cheese on the vegetarian aubergine dish was stronger than expected (tome) but that’s probably down to personal taste.

8/10It is one of our favorite restaurants in Paris but quality of service was not as always that evening. The duck was over cooked as a new waiter didn’t pass the right message to the cook we guess! The entire dish was very dry. also the chair of my husband was kicked by passing waiters all night long. Hopefully it will back to perfection next time????

5.5/10A fillet steak so tough that my pet alligator wouldn't be able to chew through it. I was not even asked how I would have liked it cooked. Some lobster raviolis were also tougher than a leather sandal. All in all; overpriced food, nice wine. Change the €€ to the €€€.
