10/10We picked the right place in the Jordaan to celebrate a special birthday. The food was 5 Star and our server was knowledgeable and helped select the right wine parings for every course. Portions were generous and presentation and flavors reflected the love put into each dish. The setting was warm, cozy and intimate. We felt like we were dining in a private home. It was a very special dining experience for my husband and I to share with our closest friends.

10/10Loved it.. Original chef was from Gent Belgium trained under Paul Bocuse and it tasted like that.. beautiful, authentic,, dishes. With wonderful burgundy wine pairings. Updated and yet original French cuisine in a very cozy restaurant with a very nice staff and excellent service . Will be back!!

10/10Small restaurant with typical Belgian entourage. Three persons run the 25 seats restaurant and the waiter is great. The food is excellent and comes at lightning speed. Recommend the restaurant for small groups (4-5) who will appreciate the mix of Belgian food and typical Amsterdam humor.

10/10This tiny French restaurant is a hidden gem in the center of Amsterdam. The food was marvelous and we were well attended to. The bisque and salmon appetizers were outstanding and the steak equally so.

10/10What a lovely gem. Very small, intimate restaurant with excellent food, paired with wines. In the morning we went to the Van Gogh museum and saw art and in the evening we experienced the art of fine food!

10/10Chez George is a pearl of a restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam. The place has an old-fashioned charm without being kitschy. The service is professional and friendly. The food (French-Belgian) is some of the best I have had in Amsterdam. The appetizers and fish can hold their own against star restaurants. The restaurant is tiny, so reservations are recommended.
