10/10We came here specifically because Julia Child did and it did not disappoint. It was as charming as can be and the food and the service were spectacular. We cannot wait to come back next time we are in Paris.

2/10I arrived early. I was told 3x I had no reservation. Mais voila, finally it was found. My friend arrived on time & was repeatedly told no one with my name had a reservation. My first name is French & my last name shares half of J. Chirac’s spelling. She could not see me in the main room. I did not have a cell phone. She was turned away. Why? The restaurant would have doubled their bill, or more, if she dined with me. When I found this out later I complained and the maître d’ put the blame on my friend. Um, she was late and lied to you. Oh, also the foreign name is hard to understand over the phone - I pointed out it was reserved via email. He tried other excuses. There are lots of fabulous restaurants in Paris. Go to those instead. But if you must go here be sure to print out your reservation & also send it to your dining companions because here they seem to not know how to read what they have written in their reservation book. Plus they are incapable of admitting they %*@ked up.

10/10We sat outside in this lovely non crowded part of Paris. The service was warm and friendly. The food was very good and dessert was excellent. This was my favorite restaurant I went to while I was visiting.

3/10worst meal quality in Paris.... asa seated by the kitchen door ( worst in house) Mayonaise eggs wit mayo.... way below par..... Special steaak with pepper sauce.... so tough I could notcut or chew..... left it. frietes cold....... Ricing on thee ledgent of Julia Childs....... worst meal in paris in 40 years...... Could not believe how poor it was... Seeing the fish Pathatic and just over all a very very sad experience........

10/10Authenticity has become a somewhat degraded concept, but Chez Georges is the real thing. A friendly and cosy ambiance provides a perfect setting for classic bistro dishes. Make sure you go there hungry!

10/10This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is of the very highest quality and authenticity. The ambience is intensely Parisian. It is the restaurant that I always think of first when I’m coming to Paris and its menu is a perfect list of everything that is best about French cooking, and which ,for all the efforts that have been made around the world, you can only find in France.

10/10+2Amazing and classic ! We came here straight from CDG and the staff were very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend the profiteroles as well the the herring and potato salad, unique and delicious!

9.5/10Food was excellent I however felt pressured to order more food than was necessary for a lunch patron. Coming from the US our main meal is not lunch. We would have been satisfied with a vegetable and a salad, not a whole chicken special also.

7/10The food was very good - the ingredients fresh and well selected. We ordered salads so not the world's most complex recipe, perhaps, but very good. Service was polite but not attentive. We had to book a table in advance so was surprised that the restaurant was empty for the first half hour we were there. Haughty maitre'd randomly put us right in the middle of the row of tables along the wall. Since it was empty, could we not have been allowed the comfort of an end table that did not have to be pushed out in order to stand up to use the restroom? This restaurant is the stuff of legend around Paris, but I have had many similar bistro experiences in this city for less money and better service. Only OK.

10/10Fantastic experience for me. The entrecôte I ordered medium plus was made to perfection for my taste and it was simply heavenly! Would have it again anytime. The chips as mentioned before , crispy on the outside and soft inside … excellent

10/10It had been about 6 years since I last ate at Chez George and in the intervening time , the restaurant has managed to maintain its high quality in all areas. Our waitress was especially helpful and attentive . The food was of the highest quality. The sweetbreads were perfectly prepared and the Duck Rillettes were out of this world.
